Game isn't seeing other players voice chat.

Was in middle of game and suddenly I started to lose everyone on voice chat, tried to refresh now it doesn't even see anyone with mics on. Can't hear anyone or speak to them.
It started working for a minute and everyone is a robot.
Done all the steps and everything checks out but when it does finally see other voices I get a couple minutes before everyone starts to robot and then it all dies and goes back to no voice chat.

Thanks for following all of the steps (i'll repost them below in case you've missed anything or if there are others who need similar help but haven't seen the steps yet). The most useful one from a bug finding perspective is the console log: I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. Let's carefully work through Steps 1 through 8 of the Roll20 guide to Audio Visual Troubleshooting : Step 1: Make sure you’re using the most recent version of either Chrome or Firefox Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Give Roll20 permission to use your microphone and camera Step 3: Make sure Video and Voice are turned on inside Roll20 Step 4: Clear your Web Browser’s Cache Step 5: Make sure you have the right ports open Step 6: Check if your camera is working with WebRTC Step 7: Check that your camera is functioning Step 8: Do a bandwidth test If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 9 : Step 9: Solving Technical Issues Step 9.2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 9.4: Provide a bug report Please ensure that the Console Log is complete. Thank you!

Brian - I recommend moving to skype or google hangouts, they have their own sets of problems but way more stable

Brian, is this happening to everyone in the game or is it only happening to you? What I mean is, when you say everyone sounds like robots does everyone else here that as well or are you the only one hearing the distortion and does everyone else get kicked from chat the same time you do?
At the time it was just me, about 30 minutes before it started happening to me a player was experiencing problems not being able to hear everyone else but it fixed itself fairly quickly. It started working again after about 30 minutes of disabling my voice and refreshing when everyone would go robot, it eventually stopped and I tried enabling my voice and everything seemed fine.  Also Phil I gotta say seeing a notification from you on a forum post makes me always feel relieved lol

This sounds like it might be an issue with your internet connection being kinda unstable. The "robot" sound comes from distortion of the audio from other players, which is caused by too much data being crammed through an internet connection that doesn't have enough available bandwidth. Next time this is happening, check out speedtest.net and see what kind of upload and download speeds you are getting. If the "robot" is coming from your friends, it's probably due to a low download speed. If YOU sound like a robot to all of your friends it's probably an issue with your upload speed. Awe, shucks :P. You just made my day! Hopefully your internet clears up soon and you can start playing with people instead of robots.
