LF 3+ Players for WH40K Rogue Trader: Ork Campaign (Weekly, day(s) undecided) New Players are welcome

Hello fellow roleplayers! I'm a GM looking for players for a FOR-THE-LOLZ (FTL) campaign of Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader where you all play as the greenskinned Orks! System: Fantasy Flight's Warhammer 40k system (primarily d100). We're specifically playing Rogue Trader, which if you have played any of FF's 40K rpgs, you will be quite familiar with. When?: It is a bit undecided, heck I could throw a game together within the hour I'm typing this! I'm looking to run it weekly though, likely on evenings, though on weekends I may be able to run it mid-day for the rest of the day so long as people have the time. I generally check with my players what times suit them best. Time-Zone(s): I myself live in Sweden ( GMT+2 ), so pretty much any European players are very welcome. This does not mean that you can't play if you live on a different continent! So long as you can get/stay up to play for a minimum of 4 hours I'm fine with whatever time-zone you're living in. I might adjust the session date's so to better fit for everyone if one or more players are not in Europe. Player Experience: Preferably I'm looking for players who have played Rogue Trader or any other Warhammer 40K RPG before, wether it be just a few sessions or as Experienced veterans doesn't matter to me. New Players are still welcome though, but even so I hope my players have a decently small amount of knowledge about Warhammer 40K (maybe you're familiar with the table-top or have played any of the games, so long as you just know the basics of what to expect it is ok). Desired Player Attitude: What is this? A question about your attitude as a player? relax, it's not a demand, but rather a request from me as GM to my potential Players. You may have noticed that I called this a "For-The-Lolz" campaign earlier. This means that I am not expecting my players to remain overly serious throughout the campaign, and many things that start out serious may turn out very silly VERY quick! I'm not looking for hardcore players expecting a deep story of a grand and epic tale that is very true to it's original source. No I'm looking for players who simply are looking to have a good time, and who aren't afraid of doing silly things. I mean the mere fact this is an ORK campaign should tell you what type of players I'm looking for. Just have fun playing your character, have fun doing silly ork voices, have fun crashing a cruiser into a planet and have fun killing stuff! Also, if there are any newer or less experienced players than you in the campaign, be nice and supportive :) I just hope we can all get along and just have fun, the Ork way! No Demands on Frequent Play and Availability: That's right! I'm NOT demanding that you are frequently playing with us, nor am I demanding that you are frequently available for sessions. This can be a time waster, and you may come and go as you like. I will continue the campaign so long as there are players there to play (usually a minimum of 3+ players), and I'm sure there's alot of you who want to play other games. I'm totally fine with people coming and going, and then coming back. I'm also saying this because sometimes I won't be able to run a session myself (I like playing myself you know, won't always be a GM). I could talk alot about this, but I don't wanna fill TOO much of the screen with words saying the same thing. Campaign Features (What to expect): If you've read this far you might have an overall idea of what to expect from this campaign, and I can sum it up with the words 'ORKS' and 'SILLY'. Although there's no 100% restriction to play as Orks, I expect the majority of my players to still play as Orks. The first mission will be fairly basic and simple (good for New Players) , but from there you will have the Galaxy of 40K to do whatever you feel like in, so long as you can survive that is ;) To make it Fair for everyone (so that no player with rubish stats and equal level of another with OP stats need to feel sad about their character), we are using the Point Buy System to generate starting characteristics. Required Books: Rogue Trader: Core Rule Book and Rogue Trader: Into the Storm are the two books that are required, BUT, I have these books (and many, many more) as both physical and digital copies, and I may be willing to share them with willing players who don't already have their own books. If you are interested, reply to this thread, PM me or post a topic in "Rogue Trader: DA BEST TRADHA DER EEZ!", which you will find by going to the Looking for Group section of the main site. Suggestions, ideas and/or questions are welcome. Hoping to here from you! :D
Got 5 orks (players) for the Campaign now. It looks like the time will be fridays at 6 or 7 PM GMT+2/CEST. I should have room for at least one more no problem, but after that we might have to see if I can get in more.
Alright, so I now have a total of 7 players for the campaign. You can still ask to join however, as I intend to keep this campaign open for people to come and go as they please. This may give people a good opportunity to try out Rogue Trader or the 40K system in general. Even if it says there's no open slots, you can still ask to join, and I may increase the total number to get you in. I won't kick people (unless they are absolute arseholes that just ruins it for other players), so people won't have to worry about not participating often. Still, just remember that GM'ing for alot of people can get tedious, so if there's alot of players wanting to play at once during a single session, "nobz" (no not noobs, campaign veterans) will primarily come first. I think I can handle about 8 players (maybe 10) at once. Therefore, for this first session, I will let 8 players at most join. So keep that in mind before you ask to join (if you wish to join). A good idea might be to ask how many players are actively playing, and an even better question to ask yourself is wether or not you really wanna play an all Ork Campaign, or if you really wanna play rogue trader in perticular. I usually won't deny requests for invites, so long as you think you are available to play at the given time (see above post). Lastly, if you ask to join, don't expect immidiete invites. As said, for this first session I will allow max 8 players, and I may send out more depending on how many players are active. So you know, just keep that in mind :)
