Star wars tabletop questions.

So i had seen sporadically on roll 20 star wars RPG tabletop games. An i am highly curious as too how the game works, character classes, how story and levels work. Essentially all the mechanics to the game, an how story lines work. I would love talking too someone who knows the system (if there is one). I may potentially like what i hear and want to play a campaign, so i hope too hear from someone soon :D
