Heya folks, Phisto here. After months of poor fortune, dead computers and other real life fuckery, I am hoping to bring the Geek the Mage podcast back to life. However as a result of some of the "real life fuckery" I am unable to act as the GM and edit the episodes. So, I am hoping to find someone that is as enthusiastic about the game as I am, to take the reigns so to speak. This would allow me to focus on the editing part. So that is where this post comes in to play! So some things you need to know about the game and whether or not a reader would make a good candidate. The first is that Geek the Mage is a 5th edition based game. Secondly, the game would have to be held of Sundays (or late night Mon/Tues 12am EST) as it is the only day I am for sure to have off. While the original game was set in Neo-Tokyo, this new version would not have to be, my one stipulation is that the setting must be somewhere that is not Seattle or even Boston. One of the main draws people had for the original podcast was the fact that it was set in a place that was new. As a podcast the GM would have to be ok with the sessions being recorded. I have always used a program that records skype calls so it would have to be the medium for calls, however if someone knows of reliable software that is fairly cheap (or even free) that works on other platforms (teamspeak, discord etc) I would be willing to amend my choice.
