Saturday DnD 4e Skirmish/Dungeon Crawl very Combat Heavy (18:00 GMT)

Basic Concept/Story: Obelisks have risen from the ground all over the Prime Material Plane each identical in every way, all with a message inscribed upon them: "Those who seek adventurer speak your name and enter. Riches will reward the brave and strong, only death awaits the week." It has been six months since the first obelisk appeared and hundreds have flocked to them to seek riches and fame, all have dispersed and never been seen from again. Our adventures meet in front of one of the obelisks, what adventure awaits them? --------------------------------------------------------------------- I would be looking to run this on a weekend possibly early Sunday but I could do during the week if the group prefers. I am willing to work with any sort of player as long as you speak good English and want to have fun. For less experienced player I am happy to sit down and make a character with you as long as we do it before the day. I am not going to be taking this game to seriously, it will be all about killing monsters, solving puzzles and dodging traps. At the same time I will not be pulling any punches so don't expect an easy ride. Hey man I would like to join the adventure. I am free on the weekdays except for Fridays I can also do Saturdays but not Sundays. I would like to play the barbarian class and I am down for any level. I do have sheet already made I'll send it to you through PM.

I'm very interested in playing. I'm pretty flexible on play schedules, though Saturday or Sunday evenings (GMT time) would be simplest for me since I'm Eastern (GMT -5). If the goal is to defeat extremely difficult encounters, then I'd probably prefer levels 11 or 16 personally (I've never played in the epic tier though).

Hi - would be interested in this game as well! Like Jedd I'm EST, so having the game on Sunday Afternoon GMT would be best (don't mind waking up early on Sunday to game). I'm new to the game and so would prefer to build a character from the ground up, but I'm not opposed to starting at a later level if others in the group are more interested in higher level play. I'm also pretty flexible on role - I tend to build beefier characters and so would be inclined to fill Defender, but Leader or Controller classes look fun as well.

I don't mind starting later on Saturday (midday for you is 5pm for me) i could start at midday on Sunday but that's the latest i can start if we want any good amount of game time. Currently my only time restrictions is i have a game that runs from 1pm till about 6pm on Saturdays and a game that starts at 6pm on Sundays so i can do around thous times. Although both are on hold this week so i could do both but it would be a one off thing. As for in the week I'm free from about 4pm my time so if you can do early in the week then that shouldn't be a problem.

Due to the time differences and the fact that I have a fairly lengthy commute to and from work, I probably wouldn't be able to do a weekday thing. Saturday/Sunday's fine for me, though.

I'm interested in joining but until the day or time gets ironed out I don't want to commit to joining 100%. If the day and time ends up being good then I could see playing a Warden or a Striker of some sort.

I'm interested. Saturday or Sunday is fine with me. I tend to favor defender and leader roles but I'll play whatever is needed. I have played 4e into epic tier and agree that early paragon is probably the most fun game mechanic wise, but I'm not picky about where we start.

Saturday would be best for me. My sundays are really busy. Hopefully we all survive this campaign!

Sounds like the best time for everyone would be starting at 600 PM GMT, then? I should be able to make that most weeks... Are we thinking about weekly, bi-weekly, etc?

Its a simple format so weekly shouldn't be an issue.

I'm free for any time! I think level 5 sounds like a reasonably fun level, personally! And I've got a nice 5th-level warlord that could fill the role of leader quite nicely. I would love to be a part of this game.

I'm currently open to anyone joining, I have found that all games in general have a ebb and flow of players when playing over an online medium so its always good to have one or two more. Add me to skype if you want some help building a char I'm around most days.

OK so game is going on as normal tomorrow at 18:00 GMT. New players or players without a current living character should contact me before the game to confirm the character they will be playing and so we can get tokens and other things set up before the game. If you haven't already existing living characters should be levelled up to 11.
