Token request for roll20

I would be more than happy to pay for a well put together SHIP asset pack, VARIOUS fantasy ship layouts, large and small. ship add on's and sail color configurations. If anyone can do this please message me. Own all the "ship" packs that are available on roll20's market place but they just do not cut the mustard.

Hi Aaron, I can't promise anything, but I certainly don't mind investigating the feasibility of creating a ship pack for the marketplace. Could you perhaps provide a bit of an outline regarding exactly what you need out of an asset pack? Do you have any examples of the kind of artwork you're looking for? Are you looking for premade maps or modular tiles? Any info you can give regarding what an asset pack has to do to serve your needs would be greatly appreciated :)

Aaron, I have been rooting around for ships for a 50 Fathoms game I am starting. There are a handfull of images and deck plans on the Dunjini sight. http://rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&g2_itemId=560&g2_page=2

What would you call it if it were realistic looking, tile that u can stretch and form to any size you want. mostly there are rowboats 2 or 3 pirate ships that all look exactly the same. I want options, War galleys, smuggler ships, eleven ships, colossal vessels.

I would truly love a collection of epic ships made to the same standard as those are. I woul dlove to see some larger ships as well as detailed in the D&D book Stormwrackj.

Well, when I refer to modular, I mean I would create tiles that have, for example, several different tiles that represent different possible shapes for the front deck of the ship, and several different styles for the back deck, and then have several mid-deck tiles that could be used one to three times in a row to determine how long the mid section of the ship is. Then additional tiles would be used to position where the masts would be, the stairs down, the position of the cargo hatch, cannons, etc... The premise of modular tiles is that you can mix and max different sections of the ship to create unique combinations upon which to add further details.

Phillip , one idea for an oared ship (such as viking longship) might be to have the fore and aft sections with filler sections in the middle. Probably 4 sections would be enough (Fore, Aft, center with a mast, filler section that can be used to lengthen the ship) For other ships I'm not sure modular designs would work as well. I'd have to do some research into ships to learn more about how ships were built and the variation. - Gauss
I like where Gauss is going with this. I think the most important thing personally is that the ship fits together well. By forming a well shaped fore and aft the rest of the middle should fit together well. I just don't want to have to add my own railings or sides etc that no matter what you do , will not match up perfectly. Although i really like the idea of putting masts where *I* want them as well as other neat little addons like you suggested as well.. I think you could really make decent $ from us Roll20 DM's who love to add high seas/ship combat to our games, i know id be top on your buyers list. This will require some more thought.
