Lost Mine of Phandelver access questions

Hey all, I purchased the Lost Mine of Phandelver "module" and I was hoping to run multiple parties through different roll20 games, but it doesn't appear that I can use the module is more than one game. Am I missing something? In fact, it doesn't even show in "my purchases" at this point. Kevin
You just need to select the module when you Start a new game. If you have purchased it when you mouse over it should have a check mark.
Thats just it...with the first game, no problem...now it shows as if I haven't purchased it. Is it one time use? I wouldn't be too happy if that is the case.

Kevin, Ed is correct. Just click on Start New Game, and select the Module with a checkmark. Here is a link to Start New Game, https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/new Wiki docs for Start New Game, https://wiki.roll20.net/Game_Management#Buttons
I see it. I didn't realize you cant add it after the fact.

You can also create your game with the module then copy the game so that you can run it without messing up the original. This will allow you to copy a fresh game each time you want to run a new game.

Pat, anytime that you start a new game with the Module checkmarked, it is a fresh original copy. Users cannot mess up the original. The copy-method that you mentioned is best for situations where you want to modify your 1st copy (to suit your game style), and then copy-game of that so that the copies start with your own customizations on-board.

Silly me, I usually assume that most GM's tweak games to suit their style but you are right of course. I usually don't use prebuilt modules but have been thinking about it some lately.

Pat, no question or idea is silly afterall. Basically a Module in Roll20 is a pre-made template of an already set-up game. Anytime you "Start New Game" with a Module checkmarked it's like making a new original-copy of that original-module. I know that you help a lot of other users on the site so this is information. Try a module sometime. :)
I also just bought the same mod and I invited one person to work thru issues and I sent them an invite. The only page they can see is the landing page. When I switch to a map they cant see it. Is there something else that we need to do?

Wiki docs for this, https://wiki.roll20.net/Page_Toolbar#Managing_Page... If you want the person to be a Co-GM and able to move themselves in the Page Toolbar, you can Promote To Co-GM on the game details page: https://wiki.roll20.net/Game_Management#Players

Gold, so does that mean I have to do that for EVERY page. That mod has 5 players so I have to do that for ALL 5? btw I already see her ribbon on the map but she cant see it. I think i see how to do it based on the docs you linked but I thought roll20 was a desktop sharing tool where everybody could see what I click on as long as I have given them permissions.

All of the Players will move at the same time when you move the Player's Ribbon. (It is possible to move players individually, called "Split The Party" in the instructions on same wiki link above). Yes, it is for every Page. Each Page is a section of the adventure that the Players will be playing for a period of time. If you want the person to be a Co-GM and able to move themselves in the Page Toolbar, you can Promote To Co-GM on the game details page: https://wiki.roll20.net/Game_Management#Players

If the player ribbon is on the page but the Player says it is all-black, check and see if Fog Of War is turned-on. This is under the settings of the Page. If F.O.W. is turned on, GM can disable it, or use the "Reveal" tool (from the GM toolbar on the left) to reveal sections from the blackness. I'm not sure if the Page you are on has Fog Of War. This module has Dynamic Light but it only applies for Subscribers of Roll20 so I do not think that Dynamic Light would be the issue from what you described. Wiki for this, https://wiki.roll20.net/Fog_of_War 2. For 'everyone can see what I click on', that is one way of describing it. There is live action that everyone can see, if the GM or a player moves a Token, everyone can see that happening in real time.
Gold, thanx for your help. I am just trying to figure it out as I go.
Gold, guess I have another stupid question. She can see all 5 of the characters on her scroll bar but cant pick one to play as hers. How can she pick her character/token?

As GM click on the Journals tab above the chat. Open a character, click Edit. Now under "Edited & Controlled By" assign permissions to your player. (If you wanted to you could go through All the Characters and could even assign permission to "All Players" so anyone could control any-PC). Gold, You are fast. My GF figured it out about the time you were replying back to me. Whew now we're getting somewhere, thanks to you!!! :)
