GM For Hire [LFG]

I've always enjoyed running games for the friends I've had close by and the lucky few groups I was able to pull together on Roll20. However, I'm at a point in my life where I'm a bit further away and harder to reach for immediate tabletop play. So, with so many ideas and time on my hands, I'd like to put myself out there in this community as someone to pull in and either run a campaign of the group's choosing or let them pull through one of my own which I have made in my own spare time.Of course, there's always the behinds the scenes work, which takes a good bit of my time and all I'd like to ask for is just a bit of compensation for the session time played. I have my fingers crossed to see if there are any interested groups, individuals, or other parties in having me. But, I suppose I should go a little bit into my own qualifications. I've been GMing games for over a decade now, with myself being a player in RPGs for probably another five or so years before that. I've played across multiple systems; from ones using the d20 to d6 method, to those which use little to no dice at all! Each system has its own way to tell the story, but after all is said and done, it is the story itself which is focused on. I try to have every player included in the campaign in some form or another, they're not just a random being who popped into existence out of nowhere (unless that is just how it happened, you'd be surprised at some campaign premises!). I'm the type of guy who'd love to run a group for hours on end for one session, or multiple time a week for the same campaign in shorter bursts. All in all, I'm adaptive to what a group is looking for, I hear their input, try to read their play style, and then adapt the game to give them the best experience possible. Of my players, I'd like to see an inclusion of every character, while some may be more adept at certain tasks than others, each one has a spot to shine and input their own opinions. The group came together for a reason, a love of the game can easily be shared and a respect for the other players is a bit of a must for a good campaign to carry through. With a little be of communication, a backstory can become an integral part of a campaign's living essence, each player as a shining beacon of the world they are trying to survive in. Of the games I've run so far, I've mostly been within the realm of the d20 systems: D&D, Pathfinder, and their many closely related cousins. Despite that, I've played multiple other systems and, after at least a good look at the rule books for a day, can pick up new or semi-familiar settings with relative ease. What I'd like to do is have my players pick what they'd like to do, and I can give them options on what might best fit that. At the end of the day, it is the players who are wishing to explore the world of their choosing, and I just the guiding hand of fate and destiny as they forge through it. I look forward to any of those who would like to ask me any questions or clarify anything I have spoken of in this post, I attempt to check my PMs frequently and am always on the lookout for those who are in need of a steady GM in the forums. And as per the  Roll20 Code of Conduct , below is the disclaimer: “ This game will require payment for my time as a Game Master at a rate of $10 per session hour. Be advised that payment will occur off site via PayPal or eTransfer and cannot be enforced by the Roll20 staff. ”
I will admit that charging for what is currently a free service is a bit unorthodox, and that furthermore that everyone here is entitled to their own opinion. However, I will counter that point with that Dustin does bring across a good point, it is a case of supply and demand; it's how a market operates and the rate I put is what I felt would be "fair" after calculating costs. And, just to clarify, I did specifically say it was per "session hour", as opposed to a generalized hour or per person. This means that it could be possible for me to host a four hour session and earn $40 dollars for it, but put in another three to six hours in order to ensure the quality of the campaign I'm trying to bring. I hope this brings a little more clarity into what may have been a bit more unclear in my initial post for future readers.

What hours are you available? What timezone are you in? Have you ever dealt with the classic "World of Darkness" by White Wolf, and Vampire: The Masquerade in particular? Do you have any game logs or some sort of website on which I could sample your GMing style?
Grimler, All of those are very good questions, and I'll give you a PM as soon as I possibly can. -Rocky
Hi, everyone. Please do not reply to LFG threads unless you are expressing interest in joining the game that is offered or proposed. Replies that do not reflect the original poster's request are considered “off-topic” and are against the Roll20 Community Code of Conduct . Comments that are otherwise against the CoC will also be removed. Thanks!
After a bit of consideration and listening to the thoughts of some of the players out there, I am extending a new service! For the players who do not wish to form themselves a group to play through a campaign, but instead want learn about a game system, the Roll20 interface, and how to use it with the systems themselves; I am offering, for the same base price, consultation and teaching sessions for those who might want to become GMs in the future. As before, if there are any questions, queries, or concerns anyone may have, please PM me and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Game On!
