Hello fellow adventurers, my name is Sencho and I am planning to run a Dungeon World campaign. Before we get into the formalities of organizing this thing, I would like to give you a little summary of what Dungeon World is about and what kind of play you get out of it. Here is the introduction text of the rule book:  "Dungeon World is a world of fantastic adventure. A world of magic, gods and demons, of good and evil, law and chaos. Brave heroes adventure into the most dangerous corners of the land in search of gold and glory. Adventurers take many shapes in Dungeon World. The races of elves, men, dwarves, and halflings all have their heroes. Some are near-invincible beasts of battle encased in iron armor. Others are more mysterious, conjuring up and wielding the mighty forces of magic. Treasure and glory are sought by a holy cleric, a tricky thief, a mighty paladin, and more. It isn’t all easy heroics and noble bravery, though. Every time the ranger guides his friends through the ancient woods there are a hundred things waiting to bite his head off. Slavering hordes of goblin troops, maybe. Or is this the Cursed Wood, where dwells the Gray Witch? Or the throngs of hateful dead, looking to drag a meaty corpse back to their lair? Scary, sure, but there’s treasure, too. More gold and jewels and magic lost to man have fallen between the cracks in the world than you can imagine. Who better to retrieve it than a band of stalwart heroes? You and your friends are those heroes. You go where others can’t or won’t. There are monstrous things lurking in the world. Are you ready to face them?" You can find some resources like class sheets on the  official homepage . People that never played a roleplaying game are definitely welcome!  This beginners guide to Dungeon World is totally worth a read and will give you great insight on how the game mechanics work together, so please make sure to check it out if you are not familiar with the Apocalypse Engine or roleplaying games in general. Lets get into the scheduling of things. I would like to hold sessions on either Saturdays or Sundays, since there is always free time on weekends. These sessions will last anywhere from 3 to 4 hours, obviously with some snack breaks. I can host sessions anywhere within the time span of 2 PM - 10 PM. My timezone is  CEST and somewhat US friendly, if the game is hosted somewhere in the evening. Dungeon World is not designed for many people playing at once, so I will take 3 to 4 players total. To round things up I will let you know a little bit about myself. I am 28 years old and have played roleplaying games for a couple of years now, even hosting a show on YouTube at some point. Systems I played or ran include Apocalypse World, Dungeon World, D&D, Pathfinder, Beyond the Wall along a couple of other lesser known ones. Shows like Rollplay and Critical Role are a great inspiration to me and really define the kind of games I like to run. Tone and rules that support the roleplaying aspect are really important to me, I do not run generic games where anything goes and breaks the immersion. That being said I am hard but fair GM that wants to see characters grow, struggle and then cheer like a fan for them when they made it out in one piece. Please respond here in the thread with any questions, or shoot me a personal message if I caught your interest. Can't wait to meet you and play to find out what happens! I should add that we will be using Discord for text/voice communication, had a great experience with it in the past and would like to continue that road! TL;DR: I want to host Dungeon World sessions on weekends, anywhere between 2 PM - 10 PM  CEST which will last for 3 to 4 hours.
I should add that we will be using  Discord for text/voice communication, had a great experience with it in the past and would like to continue that road!

I am most intrigued! I would very much love to get into a Dungeon World game. I've watched it played on Rollplay and have read some of the rules and the playbooks, but I've never played it myself and would like to see how it runs personally. Oh,and I'm in your timezone! But I should say I can't play on Sundays. I'm 35 and have been playing RPGs for 15 years, both as a player and as GM. I have the most experience with D&D 3 through 5e and Shadowrun, but I've played a few others as well and my favorite is Warhammer Fantasy. I have no problem using Discord or any other communication tool you prefer. You can get in contact with me here at Roll20 or at my Skype. I will send you this message privately as well where I will share my Skype name with you.

Hello! I'd love to talk and see if we are a good fit. I love dungeon crawlers and it sounds like a lot of fun. I'm Devin, I'm 22, and I'm fairly new to D&D. If you'd allow, I'd like to try out this homebrew character that I'd build with you so it's not OP or anything, although it's basically RNG, the character. If not, I always have my fighter and my warlock that are in my vault to fall back to that I love to play, with a stat reroll for your game of course. anyway, cheers and I hope to hear from you soon.  Having read the character sheets and such for this, I'm even more interested. it looks prebuilt, so ignore my stuff about the homebrew. I'm still interested in the barb, fighter, or maybe even the immolator because that looks badass. lol
I am also very interested in this! I would consider myself a newer player and have been wanting to find a Dungeon World, Pathfinder, or 5E campaign for a while. A little about myself: My name is TJ and I'm 29 years old. I live in the Bay Area, CA (PST time zone) and I'm a big consumer of RP content through Rollplay and Critical Role. Some fictional work I love would be The Dark Tower, LotR, Star Wars, a bunch of comics (Batman/Spiderman), lots of TV, etc :) I'm definitely looking for a campaign that welcomes newer and I also like the role play focus of the Dungeon World system. I also have Discord and would love to answer any questions you may have!
I'm very interested, and would love to play with you fellas! I am definitely a newer player, although I have played a bit of D&D 3-3.5 . I've been a member for a while and still have yet to find a game, not for lack of trying! My name is Blake and I'm 18 years old, I live in Kansas (U.S Central time) and I'm a huge fan of D&D, I just live in a town too small for game shops :(. I also love discord, just throwing that out there.
