LFG D&D 3.5 or StarWars during furlough

Looking for a D&D 3.5 or a game of StarWars in any system to play during the furlough. I expect to be away from work for the next few days, and would love to get a game going during the day (eastern time). Anyone else interested?

i am interested in star wars game, i take it your easter time day would be evening for gmt+2.

That is certainly a possibility. I'm willing to start as early as 8 am eastern. which would be noon GMT.

Fair enough. Is your preference Star Wars D6, D20 or Saga?

I am familiar with d6 and it seems just great, would not mind Saga, did not read d20 yet, will give it a shot.

New player, never played before looking for D&D or SW group. Prefer text over voice!

I, personally, would prefer a text game as my computer sometimes has issues with video/voice. If we are doing star wars I'd happily play in a saga game, but If I GM I'd prefer to stick to D6 or D20 as I know those better. Anyone else interested in GMing or is it just me? Shall I set something up for friday?

that would be great, just read d20 and had feeding d6 is little better in overall.

I've played in both, and run D20. I think D6 tends to be deadlier and more cinematic, while D20 builds more structure and is better for a campaign. That is just my experience though, and that has been over a range of GMs. Even if we can only get a third person, I think we could have a good time. I'd be willing to trade off GM duties if anyone would agree to that.

Great, still players and GM are more important than system, so i am ok with anything.

I concur. If I can get a second 'I'm in' this morning, I could set a first meeting up for today. We could discuss system, characters, etc in a normal playing room.

My group in college used D20, but switched over to a HP/power point system. I never really got into saga enough to enjoy it, and it honestly seemed needlessly complicated to me.

I have the old d20 book floating around somewhere. I like saga myself, but I am adaptable.
