My name is Cody and what I would like to do is offer you a chance to take a deep breathe and finally jump into the water!  Ok, so I am a DM, who is experienced and very comfortable with D&D 5e , and I want to run a few games to help new players who may either be struggling to find a game or who may just be a little too uncomfortable to post on the forums.  What to Expect: I will be running the Starter Adventure (Lost Mines of Phandelver) for a group of 4-5 players. The session will last for roughly 3-4 hours so please keep this in mind before replying. We will make use of both voice and video; however, if you do not have a webcam, and still would like to play, please reach out to me as I am a reasonable guy & may make exceptions.  Is there more than one game? Yes and no. I would like to run several games over the next three weeks for multiple groups. This being said, you/we will not complete the entire starter box if you get into one of these games. Each group/game will stop after the first section. So if you play, it will only be for one game.  Who should apply? Anyone who wants to learn the game Anyone who wants to learn Roll20 a little better Any veteran Roleplayer that wants to help in-game*  *see below I've seen Critical Role, will I need to do a character voice? No, but I would still encourage you to try! Roleplaying is a fantastic hobby, and to get the most out of it, I advise you to just "go for it" and have fun. If you feel like you're going to have a panic attack just thinking about voice acting... then relax. No one will force you to do something you're not comfortable with. When will the games be played? I have been wondering if someone would make a post like this, so let me first say THANK YOU! There are a ton of people looking to learn right now (including myself), so I think this is a fantastic idea.  Have you played a roleplaying game before? Yes, but only 1 session of Champions (hero game). It was VERY complicated.  Have you played D&D 5e before? No, but I have the books and know most of the rules and have seen them in practice in livestreams Have you used Roll20 before? Yes! Do you have a working Mic? Yes! Do you have a working Webcam? Yes!
