Epic levels of lag

My player and I are both experiencing massive lag with the interface at the moment. Connecting is fine, the browser isn't lagging, other websites are running normally, but everything in Roll20 is moving incredibly slowly. I have checked the status page and it appears to be fine. Here are my specs: Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Screen Resolution 1600 x 1200 Web Browser Chrome 23.0.1271.95 Browser Size 1600 x 1085 Color Depth 32 bit Javascript Enabled Flash Version 11.5.31 Cookies Enabled Nothing's really popping out, but here are the errors from my Java console. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden) Cross-origin image load denied by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy. Uncaught ReferenceError: session is not defined Uncaught ReferenceError: session is not defined Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Do you mean it's graphically lagging (e.g. dragging tokens or panning around the page is jittery), or is it a connection delay (e.g. When you move a token there is a large delay until your players see it move)?

It is graphically lagging. Panning, dragging tokens, hovering over buttons, clicking buttons, changing tabs, and typing are all having delayed reactions. The delay is from .5 to just over a second depending on how much is being done. For example, if I slide the mouse pointer down the leftside buttons the hover graphic appears on them in sequence reaching the help button about 1 second after my pointer does. I have yet to speak with any of my other players to see if this is happening with them as well. It's worth noting that my computer is fairly slow, though I've never had issues like this before and the player who was experiencing the issue has a much faster machine. I have a session this afternoon and I'll ask if the rest of my players are experiencing this issue.

None of my players had issues today, though I did, which leaves me with the assumption that it is DM-based. My player and I were on a campaign where we were both DMs last night, so that accounts for his lag. I will try joining a campaign as a player and I will edit this post with any findings. UPDATE: the interface does not lag in a campaign where I am a player.
You can try using the "Re-Join As Player" button in the Settings tab of the campaign you GM, and see if that makes a difference. Let me know either way, and I'll investigate further. Also let me know the name of the campaign.
I tried out dynamic lighting for the first time last night and the map was almost unplayably laggy for all of us (myself and 5 players). The other maps behaved just fine - only the one with dynamic lighting had problems. (Dynamic lighting looks GREAT, by the way.)
If you're using chrome, try going to chrome://flags and enabling the GPU Override.
are yew using fog of war and/or hundreds of tokens to make a map? even maps not currently on screen with tons of layers of tokens can make yer game lag up. after reading a topic on here a couple weeks ago about it, i started making my maps on a paint program including replacing all my previous, and my issues disappeared. just curious if it related...

I haven't been on Roll20 in a while (haven't been gaming) but I logged on today to update some handouts and the lag appears to be gone.
