I have what I think is a different question but this seems to be at least a related thread, so I thought I'd try here - any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Here's the situation: I'm a player in a friend's Roll20 Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign and have also been running my own independent campaign for a few years. My friend isn't able to run his game tonight (this game only takes place quarterly) and I offered to run a one-shot dungeon crawl for the rest of the players using a campaign page I set up to experiment with maps and lighting layers and things like that. Is there any way for me to import the characters of other player from the Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign (where I am a player) to the Dungeon Crawl campaign, where I am the GM? I tried using the CHARACTER VAULT functions in the TOOLS menu but, as far as I can tell, this would only allow me to copy my own character from the Hoard of the Dragon Queen into the Dungeon Crawl campaign. Is it necessary for the Dragon Queen GM to transfer those characters to the Dungeon Crawl campaign? (The reason he can't make tonight's game is a family emergency, so I don't want to pester him with this if it isn't necessary.) OR, can the other characters in the Dragon Queen campaign join the Dungeon Crawl campaign (using either the url link provided in the chatlog or by responding to an invitation) and then add their own characters to the new campaign page? Any advice?
