Can't get API Sandbox to start

Just subscribed to Pro, Trying to experiment with the API but i can never get the sandbox to start. I am using chrome and have tried multiple machines (my desktop Windows Vista (i know... ) and my work laptop Mac OSX. Both stop at the same point: Spinning up new sandbox... Previous shutdown complete, starting up... Spinning up new sandbox... "-=> Torch v0.8.7 <=- [Fri Feb 26 2016 20:39:59 GMT+0000 (UTC)]" "-=> GroupInitiative v0.9.18 <=- [Tue Feb 09 2016 23:15:36 GMT+0000 (UTC)]" so on the restart, i don't get to the "updating Schema" message. on my Windows Vista desktop i'm using Chrom Version 49.0.2623.112 on my Mac OSx laptop i'm using Chrome Version 52.0.2743.116 both are 64bit machines. Do you get the error message that the sandbox is shutdown due to an error in the scripts? (example below) If you don't see that the API sandbox should be running.
I guess I was expecting to be able to execute commands into the sandbox. does everything still have to be done through the camaign chat window?

Your sandbox is started up. Those log entries are based on what the script logs when it is loaded. The updating schema is just what Aaron programmed it to report when the version is updated. The sandbox itself doesn't actually give you any feedback that it is fully ready other than "spinning up sandbox". As for passing commands from the API console. The API is setup to interface with the game, so unless you use something like on('ready',function(){}) it won't do anything without some sort of input from the game, whether that be a chat message, a token change, or a character change depending on what sort of on('event type') you use.
Thanks for the clarification. I think the term "Sandbox" just threw me. It's really more of just a log output screen.
do i mark this closed/resolved somehow is that a mod thing?
