Suppress automatic die roll for DM only

I have macros set up for my player character sheets that work quite well. I have automatic die rolls across the screen set up in general and I like that the players see those rolls on the screen. I have also set up a few macros to use for my NPCs (in the NPC character sheet). However, when these macros are used, I not only see the results in the chat window (for DM only), but the die rolls are also visible to the players on the screen. Is it possible to suppress the die rolls across the screen for NPCs and monsters only, so that the die rolls are only seen in the chat window by the DM? As far as I have been able to determine the automatic die roll across the screen is an all-or-nothing setting. Is there a special macro command that will suppress the die rolling across the screen that I can use?

William, to clarify, you are asking about the 3D dice, right? https://wiki.roll20.net/3D_Dice

Following up. William, to help, could you share the contents of the macro? Is it using /gmroll in the macro? Based on my testing with The Aaron. It seems that /gmroll will show 3D dice to the GM (whether it is Player or GM who rolls it), but when you /gmroll it will only show 3D dice to the GM (and any Co-GM who is not logged-in-as-player) and hides both the chat dice and the 3D dice from the Player(s) as it properly should. Some reasons why you might be seeing what you described: 1. depending on how the macro is set up (if it doesn't use /gmroll correctly), 2. if the people seeing it are logged in as Co-GM, or 3. maybe it is only showing the dice to you (the GM) and you thought your players were seeing it since it appeared on your screen? Let me know if I've misunderstood your question.
Here is the macro that I have been using. /em rolls some dice Bandit1 attacks with Scimitar [Std | Advantage/Disadvantage] /w gm [[1d20 +@{Bandit1|npcd_dex_mod} +@{Bandit1|Proficiency Bonus}]] | [[1d20 +@{Bandit1|npcd_dex_mod} +@{Bandit1|Proficiency Bonus}]] for [[1d6+@{Bandit1|npcd_dex_mod}]] slashing damage; plus [[1d6+@{Bandit1|npcd_dex_mod}]] damage, if critical hit rolled

That shouldn't show any dice to your players. Although maybe using the inline rolls in a whisper does? That wouldn't make sense though. As a note, it looks like you're trying to put some formatting into the chat so that you can see standard roll and adv/disadv. Are you playing 5e and using one of the sheets, because they have some rather nice roll templates to easily format those rolls. EDIT: Yeah, just tested in my script test game with my gm account and a secondary account. doing /w gm [[inlineRoll]] does not display the dice to the players.
ok thanks for testing it! Yes, I am playing 5E and using the OGL Roll20 Sheet. If you could point me to roll templates that would be great.

The Roll Template Wiki Page: https://wiki.roll20.net/Roll_Templates#Dungeons_an... Not sure which sheet you are using, so here are the links to the specific sheet Wikis. Roll Templates are linked to the character sheet, so which sheet you have determines what roll template you use which will determine how you set it up.
