Anybody need one?

Hello all, I'm looking for a group to play a long term campaign with, but none of my friends really play D&D, so I'm turning to the interwebs. I have 4e and Pathfinder experience, but I'm really wanting to sink my teeth in on 5e. I have all the reading material, and I have a character that I'm really wanting to play. If I need to switch it up to synergize, then I don't mind that either. Anyway, please respond to this or PM me if anyone has a spot open. Thanks everyone, Dustin

I saw this post, and got REALLY freaked out. We share the same first name, and last name initial. Ha! What time zone/nights are you looking for?

I have an alternating schedule, so the days I work one week are the opposite of the days I work the following week. I work twelve hour shifts at night. I would love to play at least once weekly on my off days, if possible, but I'm willing to go with whatever the group wants. Time zone is EST.

Are you only wanting 4E or 5E game or are you open to other systems?

I'll look into anything. Those are the systems I'm most familiar with, but I am open to learning other ways to play.

Would you be interested in besm (big eyes small mouth) game a friend wants me to run is IS: Infinite Stratos. Now yes this fanservice harem, ecchi anime. But we will be taking that out. The premise of what we will be running will be a mecha war school style similar to the that part of story of anime. How it will start be after season 2 and main chars have graduated already from mecha school from anime, and you guys are now current students. The conflict of NA producing a AI IS system hasn't been forgotten yet by the super powers of the world yet. Due to this war is been creeping around the corner with many conflicts perusing after. Even though IS systems is illegal to use in any combat other than duels between countries to determine victors between two countries in conflict to prevent war. It has been rumored many countries have been developing new IS system in prep for war. Your school being the main focal point of IS peace treaty is a main target for many to take out to achieve there goal off all out war. You as students will be thrown into this mess to aid school to keep peace treaty and safety of this school.
