I made a game called Dungeon Archons, based on Dungeon Keeper. If you're familiar with Dungeon Keeper, you can play as a dungeon keeper, horned reaper, or lord of the land. Heck, you can play as a ridiculously powerful imp or just about anything else you want.
For those of you less familiar with Dungeon Keeper, think of a fantasy world filled with dungeons full of creatures and treasure. You own one such dungeon. Or you're a very powerful human/elf/dragon/slime within that world who works for a dungeon owner or raids dungeons. You can pick any morality you want, from power-hungry evil to pragmatic good to chaotic stupid.
If you own a dungeon, you deal with its problems during game sessions and advance it between sessions. Problems might include your minions going on strike, a raid by enemy forces, discovering a new enemy dungeon, or those accursed micro piglets (beware!). You also choose how to deal with the other dungeon owners and NPC factions that exist in the world, and pursue goals of your own choosing. It's part wargame, part political RPG, part city-building game, and part something else. Between sessions, there's rollover, where you get new minions, rooms, money, experience, babes, etc...
If you prefer the more personal touch of traditional roleplaying, you can play as a champion. Unlike dungeon owners (archons) you don't do things through minions, you do things personally. You can easily become powerful enough to solo a dungeon.
The game has PVE and PVP. I've set the game up so that two players in conflict with each other gain enough experience to override the loss of minions and lucre.
