Shared Backstory

If you want to have a shared history with another player, go ahead and post your character and backstory idea here, or if you're flexible who you're character is and what the backstory will be just say that instead.  This is for established characters as well.
I have a fairly flexible backstory for Bosh if anyone wants to share a backstory. Basics: Born near the village Coldharbour to a fairly insane father. Most times, he rambled how a single night with Umerra enlightened him to the secrets of life. Many of Bosh’s earliest memories involve sitting on his father’s lap as he told him stories of his mother’s deeds, achieved during his travels with her. While most in the village considered the family pariahs, they took pity on the family and provided them with food and clothing. In the later years, when Bosh questioned others in the village, he learned that his father simply appeared in the village one day carrying him on his back. He spent her first weeks in the village searching for a ranger that he believed had come ahead of him to find medicine for their ill son, yet to anyone’s knowledge, never traveled through. During his teenage years, Bosh was taken in by Morc Nerto, a Half-Orc man and valued worker who often found himself shunned due to his heritage. As it happened, Morc was also a follower of Umerra. Despite his doubts on Bosh’s ancestry (he thought that Bosh was simply a bastard of some sick soul who’d taken advantage of his fathers illness), but he believed that some high magic ran through Bosh’s veins. The boy was a natural at spellcasting, learning to cast magics known only to the priests. Morc couldn’t do much, but encourage Bosh’s talents. However, he was able to train Bosh in how to adventure, even in his poor condition. Once he reached 17, Bosh was forced to leave the village due to the fighting. Every abled bodied man was needed in the war. Bosh knew that such fighting would surely kill him. He loved his father and mentor, but recognized that there wasn’t much for him here other than a death sentence. His father gave him the holy symbol of Umerra that Bosh’s mother had left him, one of his few possessions. Morc gave Bosh enough gold to buy a cheap set of armor and some weapons. With the little that he had, Bosh left Coldharbour for Segwyr Falls.
Baru is an idiot. Drinking, eating and killing is what Baru is good at. Because he is a bumbling train wreck he was tricked in to leaving his village with the promise of riches and power. So Baru set of to make a name for himself. Chrushing evil where he may.
I think my character's backstory is pretty set, but I'm open to working with someone if they want. Ellianne was a baker with her two other sisters. From a far northern society of elves, Ellianne spent her early days learning the bow, hunting game for food and materials for her tribe. Though they were encouraged to feel responsible for and dependent on the tribe, Ellianne felt little attachment to it, and left with her two sisters at the first opportunity. She travelled to the south where she found her talents in baking, and since developed it into a great skill she uses to this day. The three opened a bakery in a small town and lived well. When the civil war began to pick up steam, Ellianne became well aware that being in her maturity and having her skills with a bow would add up and make her a fine addition to any archery squadron. She did not believe in fighting wars she had no interest in, so after much internal deliberation she fled, in the hopes that in avoiding the fight she had no vested interest in, she would find a cause in another man’s war that she would lend her bow to. With a caravan of refugees Ellianne left her sisters to keep her bakery, as she would move on to find something greater to hold on to: something she would choose herself, not what the land she stood upon told her to choose. Cervantez de Leon was part of an inquisition. Serving as warden of the captured awaiting trial. Once referred to as the "right gauntlet" of his deity. He was left behind by his comrades and branded a traitor... an Oathbreaker. How could such a man of devotion be lead a stray? It all began with a woman condemned. Given no hearing, she was brought in the dead of night, face covered and so it was to remain until execution. It was a refreshing change from the usual feathery shame parade, though it rose a great suspicion in his mind. It was not until the following morning he received the order of execution he began to question the motives of his superiors. "Beheading at nightfall?" he said aloud with great concern as he read the script. He knew this was no way to dispatch of a witch or possessed. Judgement by fire is the most common method of the inquisition to purge the soul of the tainted. To his further dismay, it was to be carried out by none other than himself. Cervantez passed by her cell multiple times that day in hopes she would justify his actions in some way. He only felt pity for her as she had been treated so badly under his care. It was out of conviction of his oath that he felt compelled to fetch her a small bucket of water. She laid curled in the corner. Cervantez opened the cell door slowly, stepping inside the cell, dismissing his guard on watch detail. He squatted down and said in common, "Can you understand my words?" She didn't move a muscle. He slowly pulled off the burlap covering to reveal long silver locks. Her face was that of eldritch beauty he had never seen. She spoke a beautiful language. He is unsure whether his actions were his own after. The memory is a blur in his mind. Next thing Cervantez knew his sword was in the gut of his returning guard and she was gone. He fled the scene in search of refuge and redemption.
Evra Hallowfang comes from a tiny village rarely marked on maps. The fifth and final child of her parents, and the only daughter of the lot. Thankfully unlike the other younger two, Evra would live to more then ten summers old and longer. Her younger years consisted of her trying to become a cleric of Vaun but was unable to awaken magic expected within a cleric. While unable to use magic she could still sever a priestess as Evra had a way with words, able to calm angered hearts, and help others in times of needed. Evra would become known in the surrounding villages as one to go to when people need someone to end disagreements, fairly and openly.  As she aged, she began to become known for beauty as well as her way with words. Countless suitors came trying to woo the woman, countless more failed. Some couldn't take no for an answer, but a visited by Evra's older brothers fix those problems. Evra would retire from the local church wanting to not bother the priesthood with all the suitors. Life would slow down once more for her before the brothers wore need to leave to join the army.   With only women, children and the elderly, the village was easy target for bandits.  If they wore a band of hardened killers or just a set of deserters from they war, it was hard to tell. But in the end, what happened was the same, senseless killing or kidnapping. Evra was nearly a victim as well, only saved by somehow... channeling magic through her mother's amulet. Not sure how, she was able to protect some of the village by summoning frozen hand and red seeking darts. Day shifted into night, and Evra tried to gather anything she could use before leave her now bloodied and ruined home. With a heavy heart she took a final look to her home, before setting west, to find a new home... and learn about her newly awakened magic.

Closest thing I could found on Google A long time ago in a land far away, there lived an elf in a hole. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with yuck and worms, it was a warm and clean hole full of serenity and peace. Walls made of red cedar and a beautifully carved door made of elder oak. This was the home that Erynion were born, raised and educated in by his two loving parents. His father and mother, whose faces he can't remember, built this home away from society, away from civilization, so that they could protect their son. our chambers the hole consisted of, two bedrooms, a study and kitchen, plenty enough space for three people. During the days of Erynions youth he spent tracking, hunting and fishing, skinning, cooking and honoring his prey with his father. The evenings were spent with his mother learning the Elven language, philosophy and history, also reading about Shalriel, the Lady of the Green Veil in the Sylvan script.  Too be continued...

BRON THE SPIDER  Born and raised in the Smith caste in his home under the mountain, Bron's youth was spent with a hammer in his hand and anvils being struck. And when he became a man he used his strong arms for the one thing he enjoyed the most; gladiator fighting. The only thing making him feel more appreciated than creating great works of iron and steel, was the thunder of the crowd as he pummeled his foes.  One unfortunate day he had the pleasure of squaring off against a local noble's  son, a petty and foolish boy with dreams of grandeur. Bron knew he was supposed to take the loss and fall before the highborn, but, in the heat of combat, he struck a mortal wound and the youngster fell dead in the blink of an eye. Instead of cheers their was only silence and then, a single shriek from the boy's mother. Forced to flee for his life, Bron ran over the hills and far away, for ten long years he'd count the days, over the mountains and the seas, a prisoner's life for him there'll be.  Many decades went by and many smithy's he opened in city's around the continent, but always in some way he mucked it up (intentional or not)  One burned down, one was standing in the way of a tsunami, and one was raided by angry hobgoblins, luck was not his forte. He decided to try yet again elsewhere and started wandering south, which he always enjoyed because it felt like walking downhill. And in his trek throughout the great woods and forests he meets the most peculiar... elf.   This particular wood elf turned out to be very friendly and giving, also whom never seemed to have enough questions to ask. Bron was delighted to teach this elven-kind all about the outside world, it reminded him of his father teaching him about the ways of bellows and anvils. In turn, Erynion, taught Bron about the ways of hunting and surviving in the wilds, trapping and tracking prey, and finding inner peace and calm. Staying for only a year Bron left with the promise to return and went west as Erynion had recommended. Going west, though, turned out to be a horrible decision as war ravaged uncontrolled, woman slaughtered is the streets and babes tossed from the walls of city's in flames. Bron's axe fulfilled it's use more times than he wanted and he got his share of scars in return. Weeks, months, years passed and Bron yearned to go back to his friend of the woodland realms. But when he arrived to the place in his memories he found it desolate and barren with marks of combat all over. His tracking skill was low but clear signs turned south and so turned also, his path after his friend...
Lady Catherine Du Vantes Catherine Du Devre was raised in the home of fairly minor lord of the Alderbren Empire. Her family’s state was away from the bulk of the fighting and instead relied on providing supplies for the Empire’s war machine. The youngest of three children, Catherine’s childhood was a happy one. Living in such dangerous times, Catherine even found herself learning to defend herself with sword and shield. However, it was in the realm of magic that young Du Devre showed promise. Most of Catherine’s features were inherited from her mother, which also seemed to include her knack for magic. When Catherine reached maturity, it was discovered that she possessed another gift. Unbeknownst to her mother, a man claiming to be Catherine’s grandfather would visit her during the full moons of her twelfth year. Her parents never knew, since this man often flew into her room with his beautiful wings. Her grandfather always brought her gifts and began to show her magic that even her mother was unable to cast, magic the Catherine could feel and practiced learning. Then, on the Feast of the Faithful, a feast night to the Gods, that her Grandfather presented Catherine with his final gift. He awoke a pair of wings just like his that Catherine could fly upon. Catherine would later conclude that while her angelic ancestry was manifested, her blood was not strong enough to sustain her wings for very long. Grandfather informed Catherine that he had to go and while it may not be the last time he saw her; it would certainly be a while. The child did not pay attention to the kind man’s words, too busy with her newfound ability to fly. When her parents discovered this, they went into a mild panic. They did not want to see some holy group thinking of Catherine as some sort of omen and take her away. They sent her to complete her studies with a group of clerics in the nearby church of Vaun who would watch over the girl. Here she learned as much as possible about the Alderbran Empire, Lord Vaun, and other topics Catherine found interesting. However, this would only last for a few short years as Catherine would return home betrothed and to be married to the second son of a family better to do than her own. Shortly after her return, Catherine found herself standing before the sight of the Gods in matrimony and her first night as Lady Catherine Du Vantes. Despite the hesitation of marrying a man she had never met, William Du Vantes proved to be a kind and gentle husband. After the death of his older brother, who had no heirs, William became the new Lord Du Vantes and took over his family’s estate. For a decade William provided luxury and comfort for his wife and in return Catherine bore him two sons. And despite the chaos and war plaguing the Empire, the family was happy. The happiness would ultimately be short lived, as in the course of a single night everything would be stolen from her. In a surprise raid, miles from the nearest battlefield, enemies attacked the Du Vantes keep. Taken largely by surprised, the guards were easily dispatched. Awakened by the sounds of battle, Lord Du Vantes raced off to rally his men while Catherine went to protect the children. However, by the time she arrived it was already too late. An Elven warrior stood over the body of her dead boys, their warm blood still on his hands. It was at the point that Catherine’s angelic features twisted in rage and pain, turning her heart to darkness. Her once beautiful wings sprouted, but laid bare. The celestial feathers slipping off and fading away, leaving nothing but a skeletal husk. Her Halo, once golden, was now pale and lifeless. As she struck down the surprised Elf, black ichor began to roll down her face in place of her tears. It was then that Catherine flew into an uncontrollable rage. He wails echoed through the castle as she hunted down as many elves as she could. But it didn’t matter. They’d done what they’d been sent to the Du Vantes Keep to accomplish. As the first rays of dawn touched the ramparts, Catherine wept beneath the corpse of her love. With the news of the destruction of House Du Vantes, the political struggle over the land was swift and fierce. The Lord William had served, Lord Pendleton, seized everything. Catherine was to be left with nothing. Desperate, Catherine was given a task if she wanted to reclaim the Du Vantes holdings. A task which would be fulfilled in Segwyr Falls…
