
Setting: Homebrew Post-Apocalypse System: GURPS I'm looking for players who enjoy taking roleplaying seriously and feel comfortable staying in character for an extended period of time, even when it's an emotionally charged scene... yet who also enjoy high challenge in the form of tough choices, the need for tactical thinking, clever social maneuvering and the merciless application of consequences that you would expect from a cold, uncaring universe, which I will be representing to the best of my ability. Your character's may be the stars of our show and even uniquely gifted in certain ways... but they are not the chosen ones, nor favored by any deity. They may die a meaningless death having accomplished nothing of note or they may live to make their names legend... either way it will be your accomplishment and not the product of following a path laid by the GM. What I'm offering here is not a great story nor a hack and slash combat sim... but to forget yourself for a few hours every week and pretend you are someone else in a post-apocalyptic world... and if I've done my job well, it'll be an interesting world full of opportunities and challenges. We might very well get a fantastic story or truly epic battles, but none of that will be planned in advance... Your character's story will not be written by me.
