Minus DnD Filter

I'm sure over the years I've posted at least two or three suggestions; politely suggesting a filter for types of games you wish to look for. But i'm just going to say it now. This sight NEEEEEEDS and DnD filter. On the Fourms AND the LFG page. Something to filter out ALL versions of DnD which includes PF. When in comes to RPGs online or in real life you can throw a stone and hit at least five DnD players. Roll20 is the best RPG online site I've found. I play games online to find stuff that's different and new, because finding a DnD isn't hard...in anyway....at all. Finding a non DnD game is a challenge! Which doesn't help roll20 when i scroll through three pages DnD of post...before...finally...finding...a game....that's not....DnD....iiiiitttttss.....ah damn it....Starwars! That's just space DnD....AH finally a Warhammer game five pages in! Ah damn it's dead cause it's five page in and no ones posting to it.

The LFG listing lets you filter based on the game system; you can easily filter out all the D&D variants.

Eric, years? :) As Brian stated, the LFG listings now have a variety of D&D filters. - Gauss

Not so much? I see how to search for DnD editions. But not how to cut them out of the search. Plus the forums need it just as badly too.

Eric, Im not sure I understand. By putting in the game(s) you wish to search for in the LFG listings all other listings are cut. It will only search for those games. As for the forums, neither Brian nor I were commenting on that aspect of your suggestion. :) - Gauss

AH i see. Where you coming from now. If i knew what games were out there i wouldn't be search from them. I'd like to look down the list and check what's out there or who's running what. I don't know what's out there; that's why i'm searching. But most of it is just DnD. I honestly don't think it'd be unreasonable to have a 'only want 20 list' and a 'no DnD list'
+1 Eric I made a similar point when the new LFG method was introduced. It is great at filtering on popular games but not so useful to those wanting to try something different. The only advice is to try filtering for 'Other'. This should give you board games, misc RPG etc and none of the popular systems but may also exclude some things you might want.
