profile picture randomly changed?

just noticed when I logged on today that my profile picture was changed, does that mean my account has been hacked? is there a way to recover my old picture at all? I never touched or tried to change my profile picture and it's suddenly different today...

The default avatar is a  Gravatar , which is an image automatically generated based on your email address. I suppose it's possible that Gravatar changed their algorithm for generating the image, but that would affect every website using Gravatars. Did you change the email on your account recently?

haven't touched anything with my account on here as far as I know...

Your Profile Photo is stored in Your Library ; are you able to find it within there? Otherwise, could it be possible that, while using Your Library (or playing with the Art Library in-game), that asset was accidentally deleted? (Another possibility could be, during a visit to your Account page, the "Change Image" button was accidentally pressed while hovering over your Profile Photo; I've done this one myself!)

not there, and i've been pushing the change picture a few times now and it's not giving me any new ones.... don't think i've even visited my profile stuff for weeks if not longer before this happened

Have you recently used Your Library, or the Art Library in-game?

hmmm think I did a few days earlier.... uploaded some stuff into the game area but not to my profile picture

Did you, by chance, reorganize or modify your Recent Uploads? Or, do you recall attempting to delete unused assets?

hmm I know I uploaded and tried to browse assets in a room but it was just that little area and not the bigger thing outside on the main site... and that was  couple days before... I can't think of anything I did yesterday at all besides logging in from my laptop for a while but i've done that a number of times before too...

There was one other time where aws, our image service, seemed to have deleted some random images from a user's account and they said they hadn't deleted any image recently. If this was actually the case, it may have happened to you too with your avatar image. You should be able to just upload another image, or the same image if you still have it. If it's not in your library, then it shouldn't be taking up space. I don't think this is a sign of someone gaining access to your, as it would be a really strange thing to do, but just in case you might want to change your password. If you do see any other issues, like someone messing with one of your campaigns, we can always restore the campaign for you. So, just let me know if you see any other issues.

owie awww.... guess there's no other way to recover it at all too? thanks for responding though ^^; was worried if I had to check my accounts I had on other sites in case I downloaded something bad x.x;

If you happen to have the link to the image I can recover it. The image links are hashed (just a random string of numbers/letters), so it's not something I can just go and find without the actual link. Sorry :(
