Black loading screen in campaigns.

Whenever I join a campaign (regardless of if I am the DM or not) I get the black loading screen. There is nothing in the chat accept, "View all chat entries for this game >>" When that is clicked, it opens a new tab with the chat archive. I am unable to send anything in the chat though. I found this bug around 11:30 am EST when trying to load up a campaign. I have cleared the cache and refreshed the page.  Support Details: OS: windows 8.1 Browser: Chrome 52.0.2743.116 Screen resolution: 1440 x 900 browser size: 1440 x 775 Color depth: 24 bit IP: - Javascript enabled Cookies enabled Flash version: 22.0.-1

Hi, Alofen . I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox . Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache Done! If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log !) Thank you!

Does this help? *the edit was to put a line through the web links but it failed to prove any use*
Thank you. It appears that you're having issues connecting to Firebase, a data host of Roll20. Could you also please let us know what happens when you visit this diagnostic webpage? <a href="https://roll20-1.firebaseio.com/pingdomcheck.json" rel="nofollow">https://roll20-1.firebaseio.com/pingdomcheck.json</a> The page should display "{"online":true}" if all is well. If does not display "{"online":true}", there's unfortunately not much that Roll20 can do on their end. Here's what Phil B. of the Roll20 Dev Team has said about this particular issue: If this is happening then, there really isn't anything I can do about it. It's an issue with your ISP, or even their ISP. Basically somewhere on the internet between you are firebase someone is blocking the connection. If you are not able to set up a free VPN, then your next option would be to call your ISP and tell them that you cannot connect to firebase, a web host. Other than that you're only options are to wait, and maybe it will get fixed by them eventually or to play from a different connection like at a coffee shop.
I did not get the online true message. This is the message I received: This site can’t be reached The connection was reset. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_RESET Thank you for the help, I will try connecting to another internet and trying that. This is really odd though, because i got the&nbsp;"{"online":true}" message when I tried the link on my phone, but not on my desk top.

When you tried the link on your phone, were you connected to wifi or using the cell data connection? If you were on wifi, and it worked on your phone that means there is something on your computer that is blocking the connection. The usual culprits are browser extensions or anti-virus software. Try temporarily disabling your extensions and AV software and see if that makes a difference. If those don't help, you can always try using a different browser, either Chrome or Firefox (whichever one you aren't already using). If you weren't on wifi with your phone, try it on wifi. If it also doesn't work on your phone through wifi, that means the problem is either something weird with your router or that somewhere along your route through "the internet" to connect to Firebase is blocking your connection. You can usually get around this by using a VPN. There are a bunch of free options out there and they are pretty simple to use. These things usually are not on purpose and will hopefully fix themselves eventually, so check back occasionally without the VPN and it might just start working again.
Thank you for the tips and advice, I have tried disabling the anti-virus and the add one, as Silvyre Said to do and the same error occurred. My computer was reciently struck with a bad virus so there could still be something in the system.&nbsp; My phone was connected to the WiFi at the time. If it helps I have a samsung galaxy active, the newest one.&nbsp; Again, thank you for the help.
The problem has been solved. There was some issues with some of the files, They were blocked and some rules were also blocked, which made connecting to most servers impossible. There was also a pending update that was resolved. I appreciate all the help in this.
