Making a backup copy.

Hello, Is there a way to make a backup copy of everything in my campaign somewhere on my computer? My maps, characters, handouts, images,... I prefer to always have backup copies of things, especially when I spent hundreds of hours working on it, in case of the unforeseen. Thanks.

You can't back it up on your computer, but you can make a copy of your campaign form the game details page. Click on the settings button that is just to the right of the looking for group button for your campaign (inline with the join game and content buttons). One of the options from the settings drop down will be copy game. You can choose what gets copied over. The only thing I'm aware of that doesn't copy is API scripts/the API state (but you don't need to worry about this). EDIT: Also, this does not increase your storage space, as you are not copying your library images or anything, just your campaign set up, so if you delete an image from your library, it will dissapear from your live game as well as the copy.

Thanks, though It doesn't help me much. I mean, 30 years from now maybe the site won't exist anymore but tables will still have tops and I might want to dust out the old campaign.

30 yrs from now, Roll20 might be the Microsoft of the VTT systems. That is the thing, no one knows what the future holds. Most GM's that plan on holding on to their information usually type everything up and create images on their computers. Some use maptools to put tiles together, others use gimp then upload the image to roll20. Same thing with handouts and such. Sorry it doesn't help you now but us old time gamers (those of us that were gaming before there was the internet or what people think it of today as the net) had notebooks of information. For all we know there might be a zombie apocalypse and since nerds are the one demographic that spends the most time preparing for such an event, we are going to need to hold on to our main source of entertainment or the future will be bleak indeed. Well, I'm gonna copy paste all of it manually then.
