Sluggish Performance

I don't know if it's just me but for about three days now the tabletop has been very sluggish, including all the menus. Actually, it seems to only be happening on my Deadlands campaign which has the most pages, but last week had no problems at all with it. I tried archiving half of the pages on the Deadlands campaign and I tried clearing the cache. It seems like after 15 minutes or more the performance returns to normal, but if exit and come back in or "Rejoin as Player" then it slows to crawl again. I hope someone can help me out, I'm planning to run my weekly game in two days.

Out of curiosity, is this a long running campaign? Reason I ask is that sometimes the chat log for a long-running game balloons to a point where it slows everything down. If your answer is yes, test this out by going to the My Settings tab on the sidebar and click on the "Clear Current Chat Log". This is a temporary wiping of the chat archive from the roll20 interface. You have to do this every time Roll20 reloads though. If this is where the problem lies, you might want to consider clean slating your chat archive from the campaign's details page. That's a permanent deletion of the chat archive.
Kristin, are there any resources (posts, wiki entries, etc.) that cover optimizing your settings/features to get the best performance? Chrome settings, computer settings, other helpful tidbits like clearing the chat log and such? I've poked around and not found anything comprehensive.

Hmmm.... I don't think so. The Wiki is an eternal work in progress. Couldn't hurt to have that sort of documentation added.
That helped a lot, thank you Kristin! Btw I was getting better performance out of Firefox before I cleared it for whatever that's worth. Headhunter Jones I'm digging your GM Tips: Context Is King ( https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/375708/gm-tips-context-is-king#post-386876 )post, I'm browsing around your site now :)

Matt G. if you continue to have any issues send me a Join link and I will come take a look at your campaign. BTW, did someone roll a lot of dice (like, hundreds) repeatedly? - Gauss
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what caused it. After the last game one of the players was messing around and rolled some crazy number of dice. Seems to be fine since I permanently deleted the logs, thanks everyone for the help!
