4-6 players looking for a DM for D&D 4e or Next

A couple of friends and I are looking for a DM for our group. We want to make it a weekly thing and also keep the player count between us and maybe a friend or 2 of the DM. The campaign or scenario set up us completely up to the DM. Other things you might want to know in bullet points. - We want to do Sunday 7-10pm PST (Monday 2-5am GMT) - We are all about 20-25 yrs. old and with little to no experience with the game. - If you need us to supply a preferred world. I'd like to start off in Waterdeep (just because I watched d&d being played at PAX on youtube) but again it is ultimately up to the DM. - We'd like to have a good balance between roleplay and combat. - We all just want to have fun and hope you do as well.
Wow, very specific in your deman...*clears throat* request. :) Good luck finding that one specific time slot.
My bad, but it's about the only time we were all free and I was just trying to give as much information as I could. But we are a California PST based group of people and are, as a group, only really available Sunday and Monday evenings, sadly. We'd be willing to try other systems as well, maybe Dragon Age, D&D 2.5, 3.5, or just a one shot. Seems like it is hard to find any groups during that time slot. But it's worth a try to see if anyone is out there.
No, I understand, just making sure that you know asking for a specific time slot might be difficult :)
I've been looking to run a D&D Next playtest so this may work out. The times a bit late so if there's any room in shifting it let me know, if not I'll see if I can make it work on my end as well. I'm on the east coast so thats 10pm-1am for me
Hey Chris, I am an experience 4e DM and would be happy to fill your DM needs, however I am a little confused by timezone, could you perhaps give me the exact GMT? I only ask as I am in Australia and run on +8GMT, which I think means I would be my 10 am Monday slot which at the moment isn't to bad as I don't have work, but that could change in the future.
Hey Bryan. Looks like my reply to you got me some more replies, so thank you. Hey Bobby, we could possibly shift an hour earlier and do 2 hour sessions? So it'd be 9 to 11pm for you? Not much flexibility, let me know if this might still be something you'd be interested in doing. Hey Anthony, we run on -7GMT, looks like your math is matches up with mine, so it would be 10am the next day. I look forward to gaming with one of you
Sweet as long as we keep it to a reasonable session length I am happy to continue.

from looking at the posts is sounds like you guys ended up finding a DM but if that falls through let me know, I've run 2 hour sessions of Next before and it is doable and that's a time I can work around.
Hey Bobby you we're first to reply here and I like to go by that most of the time. Also, we have a preference to play D&D Next. We could do 2-3 hour base on your availability. Hey Anthony, much appreciated I will contact you if things fall through with Bobby. My friends are willing to do 4e but would like to do more. Then again if you're willing to run Next, it seems like Bobby would be fine with you getting the "job"
No problem man. Keep in contact.
alright fun stuff I'll set up a campaign and post the link here in a bit
