[LFP][D&D 5E] Player needed for sandbox campaign - Tuesdays 7 pm GMT+2

One of our players recently had to quit playing, and so we are now looking for a new player. The party is currently lacking a beefy melee character, but it's certainly not a must to play one of those. Everyone is welcome, no matter their experience level. Just don't be a jerk to the other players and it should be fine. We currently use Skype for voice during games, but it's not set in stone, and the sessions are weekly, and about three hours a piece. It's a homebrew sandbox-type campaign set in a standard low magic fantasy world without many odd twists so far. It's currently very player-driven with no requirement to follow every plot hook, and it's more of a pointcrawl than a hexcrawl. As far as content goes, there's not been anything 18+ so far, and I would like to keep it that way. I am a laid back DM, and I still consider myself a novice -- especially to 5E -- but I haven't had any major complaints so far. I prefer a mix of RP (especially party banter) and combat, but I am fine with sessions being either only RP or almost only combat every now and then. I try to reward thinking outside of the box, and will mostly just present scenarios to the players, and it is up to them to find a solution. I prefer more shorter dungeon romps, so don't expect any megadungeons. The adventuring party, now down to four members, has just reached level 4 and is in a city for some downtime after an adventure. Coming up with a way for a new character to join the party shouldn't pose a problem. We use 27 PB for stats, and feats are used. I am open to homebrew classes and backgrounds -- barring gunpowder-based classes -- but I can't guarantee that I'll accept everything.
Heya, I'd be willing to give it a go. I can do a melee oriented character no problem. Normally I prefer rolling over point buy but I can work with point buy just fine. If you're interested in having me just send a PM. I've been playing 5e for about an year so I'll do just fine.
Hello, I would love to join your group in their adventure. I am a long time DM for nearly all editions of D&D but have only been able to play on the other side of the screen a couple of times and am looking to engage in some nice wholesome role playing adventurers. As a DM I have always focused on creating full fleshed characters with deep backgrounds, over some kind of gimmick character and would love to bring that in to your game. So I would be happy to oblige to you request in a melee tank of sorts and already have an ideas in hand for a Halfling Fighter with the lucky feature and background as a charlatan/con-artist or a Half-Orc Bard "War Drummer" or a Human Monk an old Asian man who is incredibly wise. My only issue is that I do live in GMT+8, but I can make it work. It puts my start time at about 1 pm and really my only interruption at that time of day is picking my partner from University which takes me less than 10mins or having some lunch.  Looking forward to hearing from you.
Party banter is good.  What is the day and time and the average age range of the players and GM?
Sorry, guys, a player responded before all y'all via PM, and I go with early bird gets the worm. Sorry for not replying earlier. However, one of my other games got cancelled, so if any of you are interested in a weekend game, send me a message, and we'll see if we can start a new game as well.
