Hi, I started playing around 1980 when I was freshman in high school and I would like to find/found a group of players close to my own age who would like to play on a weekly basis. I like to role play, have creative and challenging play, and I enjoy a bit of humorous dramatic irony, the expected bon mot and witty repartee with the NPCs, etc. I also enjoy problem solving with the group and I have really enjoyed playing contest games at the few conventions I have had the pleasure to attend in my time. As for games, I am fairly open, but I do like to keep things light, and I prefer to stay away from dark settings and occult settings, but instead prefer adventures in and around cities and towns where plots are often intricate, and often multi-layered when various player characters' goals and involvements start to intertwine. I am open to various gaming systems and have played many, including variants of D&D since the Basic Set came out, and more technological games such as Traveler and the seldom played but much missed Gamma World!
