Problem making Token appear as the journal image associated to a character sheet

I am trying to make a token appear as the journal image associated to a character sheet. I have been successful linking the game token to the character sheet, however when I look at the character sheet in the journal, I still see a generic image of a chess pawn next to the character sheet in the journal instead of the image of the token that I have linked.   I have tried to follow the advice given in a previous post about how to link a Token to a character sheet, which said "Upload the image, tag it, then drag the image from the art list to the journal avatar space and to the desktop." 1) I was able to upload the image 2) I renamed the token after uploading, but I found no option to "tag it".   3) When I tried to drag the image from the art list to the journal avatar space, it did not work---Nothing happened. 4) I was able to drag the token to the desktop. I do not have a jpeg or png file of the token so that I can upload it into the avatar space using a file location. Suggestions?
I used a work-around by taking a different token, which i had on my laptop. I was able to upload this as an avatar. I still don't understand why the "drag and drop" functionality was not working.
Are you using Window Popouts for Characters ? At the moment, drag-and-drop functionalities do not work on Characters while this option is enabled.

Is it possible to pop-out the character sheets or handouts when they are in edit mode? I haven't seen a way to do that.
i don't have a separate window for Characters. I am not sure what a Window Popout is.
Could you please attempt to showcase the issue via screen capture (or recording )?
In the first screen capture you can see the character sheet called, "Copy of Aelar Amakiir" and you see the sheet opened to the Avatar place in which the token could be placed with drag and drop. In the second screen capture you see the art library opened and the token for the "Half-elf Ranger" is the very first one at the top of the list. I dragged this token across to the Avatar, where it says "drop a file". The third screen shot shows you what happened. The token dropped through the character sheet and landed on the blank map page behind. so no Avatar was created using drag and drop. As a result the icon next to the character sheet "Copy of Aelar Amakiir" remains unpopulated looking like a chess pawn.
Thank you. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!)
I just figured it out. My cursor (when dragging the token) was within the box, but not exactly over the button "choose a file". I got it to work by dragging the token directly to the button.
Thanks for letting us know!
