Actual Play thread!

Hey everyone! I've begun the AP thread that I asked you guys about over at rpg.net. You can find it here: https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?788762-D-amp-... Feel free to participate as much (or as little) as you'd like! I haven't revealed anything that has been privately messaged to me; that will either manifest itself over the course of the AP, or you're welcome to post it in the thread if you'd like. If it's something that you want to keep a secret from the other players, though, I recommend letting it play out in-game. There's already a few interesting things brewing...
Say, whatever happened to posting our sessions on Actual Play?

Nah, ya don't have ta push yerself for that. I like the vignettes and awesome story stuff for the rp better. I could try write something up myself and if anyone else want to pitch in, we could all help each other write up our adventures so far so you don't have to do all the work on your own?

See, I've made the mistake of assigning "homework" in previous campaigns, but everyone has a life outside of the game, and I count myself exceptionally fortunate just to get y'all for the three or four hours a week that I do. :) That being said, I will ALWAYS welcome any additional input you guys have. If you want to write vignettes, journals, a little scene between your character and an NPC, by all means, go for it! You guys have full control over your PCs' backgrounds and any other characters in them (until our campaign started; now your NPCs are mine, muhahaha). Basically, as long as you're not trying to alter the game with your additions ("a friend of mine from the past just visited me to drop off a +5 greatsword of dragonslaying!"), go to town!
Haha, assigning homework doesn't sound like much fun! xD But volunteer-work's not much work at all. :)
I'm glad you feel that way, Aviana! I think it'd greatly add to anyone's characterization, and I always enjoy seeing what you guys come up with and weaving it into our current stories.
