Rayguns and Robots? New Cosmic Patrol group forming!

Hey there! Like rayguns and robots? All kinds of retro future fun? We have a new Cosmic Patrol game starting up here soon, and we are meeting over on Google+, find us here <a href="https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/104655428110226026547" rel="nofollow">https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/104655428110226026547</a> If you aren't familiar with Cosmic Patrol, it uses a rotating GM (called a Lead Narrator) and you should be prepared to do a good bit of improving and roleplaying to make the story flow. This is not a game where you sit back and say "My guy goes over here and shoots his laser." We are completely open to new players, even if your improving skills are not the best. Just be willing to try and have a burning desire to have some fun! You can learn more about the game over at cosmicpatrol.com. We do ask that you have at least read the rules. The whole book is only 140 pages long, with the core mechanics taking up small portion of that. Well, that's all I got. Good luck gaming and hopefully we will see some of you in the stars! jason

Hello, Jason, James here. Traveller GM since 1977. I have run CP at local area stores. I have also done the Fiasco game, so I know how all this works. If the day of play can match my schedule, I'd like to be considered. I run Traveller FRI &amp; SUN 4p-8p EST. Weeknights are better. I can do some saturdays if notice is long in advance, or I could do late night, like 10PM+ EST, most any night. Tuesday nights would work out pretty spiffy.

Hey James! That is awesome that you have run CP before. I think we are definitely leaning towards the weeknight games. One of our members and already built some really cool character sheets with built in macros as well. I would certainly invite you to join on G+, and I will keep this thread updated as our first game gets closer. I do beleive we are meeting again on Tuesday the 15th, probably around 8ish CST. You are more than welcome to come on by!
