Mystic Pools map in this set will be the new home of some Nixies in my AD&D 2E game. They're a type of freshwater Sprite in the category of Fey. "Nixies have webbed fingers and toes, pointed ears, and wide silver eyes. Nixies can breathe both water and air; travel on land is possible, but they prefer not to leave their lakes. Small bright, ornamental fish are kept as pets and trained to perform elaborate tricks. Lakes with nixie tribes are kept clean and well stocked. Nixie artifacts include jewelry of shells, silk from water spiders, and potions of water breathing."
