Hello I'm Bill (name stolen from a minor Bioshock character) I live in Texas (LBGTQ+ friendly though) and am looking for a game Tuesday-Thursday after 5pm (CDT) or most of the day on Saturday or Sunday. I have been playing Tabletop RPGs for as long as i have been on roll20, having played pathfinder, 5e (favorite ruleset atm), and warhammer 40k (some experience with everything past RT and DH1) (mixed experiences, not all have ended well). I am willing and able to learn new games in sci-fi and similar settings (please no zombie apocalypse), but I would need advanced warning, access to the required books/pdfs, and a group willing to help me when i start asking questions when i get the rules wrong. My playstyles have a tendency to be a bit clinical and professional, weird words for tabletop gaming. I try to always be on time and give advanced warning if there is even a chance of running late or missing a session. Characters have a tendency to be intellectuals or on the LG side of alignment scales (hence awkwardness in grimdark settings. I have a bachelors in criminal justice and social sciences and that plays into things a lot.) I do my best to work well with any group (I am anti-pvp in a tabletop setting). I am a quick study normally, but no one is perfect and I like to be prepared for the worst. I would like to join either a new campaign or a campaign at a resting point, as starting in the middle of any intrigue has a tendency to end poorly due to a lack of understanding or being left on the sidelines. As far as campaign books/adventure paths/what have you i have played before, I have played Rise of the runelords in pathfinder, Horde of the dragon queen in 5e, and in the middle of Rise of Tiamat in 5e. Everything else has either been homebrew or not stated by the GM/DM.
