Scheduling 2E Adventures (Sept 6,13,20,27) Tuesdays

Main Game day is presently set for TUESDAYS (September 6, 13, 20, 27). Side Quest 2nd-game day is offered on some  THURSDAYS (September 1, possibly 8, possibly 15 , possibly 22, possibly 29). All Players, you know which group you're in. Anyone wanting to switch game-days talk to the DM, or feel free to drop in anytime. Also, continue Asgard extra-planar side quest on days when Swargen (Paul) is playing and the party-personnel is such as fits Asgardian adventure. Planning next to mount an unlicensed expedition back into Tower Descent later, 3. Update! Merging Party & Opening Side Quest Day ATTENTION: Airen, Torvald, Swargen, Xrogeb, Hemaskas, Ellrod.  Starting Tuesday September 6, let's try combining the Main Game party known as "The Challengers Of Destiny" with 2nd Mob PC's from Thursday group, to bolster the league as-one party, each Player ready and the group collectively powered for  the next adventure (Tower Descent ) . After we finish Web's latest dungeon, and if you survive the Dracolich... Next get ready for the Tower Descent, a tricky mid-level AD&D homebrew adventure filled with monsters, traps, puzzles, undead, a bit politics, treasure, and roleplaying situations galore! You could rise to 9th Level or higher, possibly, in the course of playing this upcoming dungeon delve. SIDE QUEST OPTIONAL: On certain Thursdays (days when Paul can play extra, before/after scheduled surgery), let's play Side Quest Thursday where ANY of the existing PC's can astral-travel with Swargen (Priest Of Thor) on a special quest across the Rainbow Road in Asgard to save Odin and the world from the treachery of Loki.  Because PC's near Swargen can astrally travel to-and-from this quest location, you can easily jump back-and-forth from the mainland Tuesday adventure on Homebrew World prime material plane. Awesome sauce!!! Who wants to play in the outer planes on Side Quest Thursdays? On Certain Thursdays Any PC can play the astral Asgard quest with Swargen.  Leading PC:  Paul on whichever Thursdays he is able to play extra, possibly September 15, 22, 29. Any other PC from the game can play , come & go at will, so YES, you can play Thursdays if you're available and Swargen(Paul)  is able to play to lead on that day. They say Margrave Horukh disappeared chasing undead into the tower's deeper levels a few weeks ago. It has no doors or windows, and can only be entered from the top. Updated roster for Tuesday games: I edited the post above to list the party. Gregor can play on Tuesdays, bring Baart the Satyr Bard Jester.  We will cover how all the characters meet from both caves, both parties meet, and you can roleplay in-game how the party forms in-league together. Steven is making a new PC to join the group. Welcome him! Paul can't play Tuesday Sept 6th, but he will be back later. Solid, Bob, Paul -- you may play either or both of your PC's. Even if the PC's are in different locations in the world, there is presently a storyline opportunity to converge in connecting caves outside Portlandio.. 

PERSONELL: Another update as allied PC's depart and re-enter from their own missions elsewhere. Steven is working on making Svalba The Black , a Human Illusionist PC.  Bob wrote to let me know that due to family reasons, he'll be back on Tuesday 20th, or possibly the upcoming session Tuesday 13th. He plays Xrogeb the Goblin Tunnel Rat Thief (very useful little skill-bugger), and Olamos the Centaur Druid (also a good natural supporting character). Conceivably Paul could be back to play as soon as next week. AS WE SPEAK, DURING THE WEEK:  Our heroes from the Dracolich battle are crawling through crevices and tunnels. The main party is traveling through a few miles of underground tunnels, caverns and caves, following Hamaskas' directions back to the mushroom cavern (where he has heard of a secret underground path leading back into Portlandio proper). Baart, Torvald, Baradin, Airen, New Rhubarb, Bill Jim, are here. Swargen, Size, Grubar , Stonemaw are elsewhere (no doubt some extraplanar side quest). TO PLAY NEXT GAME:  Mushroom Cavern offers forks in the road. From the mushroom cavern, the party can decide how much time to spending exploring the areas Under-Portlandio. The caves branch off in 6 to 10 different directions, each with its own challenges, rewards, and time consuption. Your main goal is to get back into Portlandio with a cohesive party, check on the party's Inn (owned by Swargen ), and find out what's going on locally and regionally since the last time you were in the base town. Check the news of politics and the weather, as well as profits or damages among your properties and acquaintances around town. AFTER THAT WE COLLABORATE ON PORTLANDIO:  World-Building in Portlandio with General Che Won! We'll play some world-building where the Players can change Portlandio and even affect the local laws. General Che Won is in charge now (Yi Ko was executed, Yi Bang is out-of-town again). Che Won's peculiar power brings a new mish-mash of chaotic construction and inconsistent law enforcement. There is disorder in Portlandio, and the Players can help to deconstruct it!  Then it will be time for a major, long-awaited quest...  ENTER TOWER DESCENT PREPARED FOR ADVENTURE: Investigate and find out where has Margrave Horukh went.  Why are adventurers like The Challengers Of Destiny banned from following Margrave Horukh's path into the Tower Descent on the coastal cliff where the Beacon Lighthouse used to be?   The level-spanning adventure on the horizon is called "Tower Descent", a dominating mysterious building with no doors or windows.

Game is on for Tuesday September 13  and most-likely continuing to play every Tuesday this month. Not entirely sure what you mean by 'session notes' but probably yes. Any kind of writing counts as a journal (preferably with picture included), if it is posted in the current Journal Thread  on the game forum . (Nevermind the fact that I need to start a fresh September journal thread since right now everyone is still posting under August).

Hey y'all. Just wanted to give you an update that I've been told that the soonest I could even attempt to change my schedule will be half way through November.

Understood, Cat . Thanks for the info, best wishes in the job. We have high hopes of Larry being able to repatriate to the game in December. Maybe we will get a reunion adventure in December-January. By the way, Cat , the chaotic General Che Won has just dubbed Airen as "The Big Cheese" of Portlandio (a job the bullywug never sought nor wanted, and ineffectively tried to refuse). Che Won has his people looking around for Valkenhayn in hopes of appointing you as "Magistrate". In the meantime the core party is continuing their adventure-exploration-investigation of Tower Descent, the mysterious tower with no doors or windows that appeared on the High Harbor Cliff. I'll open a new Scheduling thread for October game dates soon.
