Hey y'all- Couple of things: 1) I HIGHLY recommend everyone review the "Treasure" rules from the Players Handbook, page 167-168 2) I've added the value of each item as I know it to the LOOT handout in the journals. Octavio can tell us the values on the jewelry stuff next game 3) We need to decide how "we" are going to divide treasure. I totally support the PHB method (sell value everything, buy back what you want, bid for multiple players wanting) for a number of reasons: A) It maintains WBL (Wealth-By- Level)- this may be more important to Octavio than us, but as items become more valuable, a player can quickly outstrip his fellow players with a pick-and-choose or everyone-get-one or need-over-greed methods. B) It lets everyone get the chance for an item C) It means everyone else gets a bit of gold for the item when that one player gets the item--- in essence, they're all that much closer to being able to buy their own. D) Unless our characters grew up together, "I want my cut" is more in character than "Well, you say you need it more than me, so okay." E) The only time I've seen it not work out well is when a player is a dick and wants to bid on everything to drive the prices up. I'll say that it doesn't seem like we have any of those kinds of players with us, so that shouldn't be an issue. This wasn't an issue before now, as everything split up nicely (everyone got a masterwork item; everyone got a potion; etc). It will matter as variety and value of items climbs... Anyways- POST what you think so we can figure it out without burning too much game time next week in discussion. I've said my piece and hope to hear y'all's opinions and ideas and reasons for thinking such. Hone wishes all units enjoy their Day of Labor (though this unit is not clear on why no work is done on such a day)..... Peace- ~Havster
