Dynamic Lighting Problem

I've had this glitch/bug/problem occur in that my GM sets up dynamic lighting for the game which works for all the players except me i can see the entire map as if there is no dynamic lighting, and when the gm switches to "see what my token can see" mode the dynamic lighting is working for them.   I have had this problem occur twice in two completely different games with different GMs and players the only constant is me. could some thing in my computer setup be affecting this?

Hello Daniel, You aren't the only one who has dealt with this very issue. From what I gather, what's happening is that something on your browser is interfering with the Javascript attempting to obscure the map for you. As a player who's dealing with this bug, what you might be able to uncover may help us a great deal, since most reports we get on this issue are GMs who aren't actually dealing with said problem directly. First thing you want to go over is the basics, as in the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) If you're still seeing right through a GM's dynamic lighting layer at step 4, I'm hoping a console log may uncover something.

This can also happen if Hardware Acceleration isn't enabled in your browser, worth checking if Kristin's suggested steps don't provide instant relief.

Also, make sure your javascript isn't turned off in your browser (the other way to disable DL besides hardware acceleration).
