Campaign Tools

September 07 (8 years ago)
I think it would be neat if Roll20 offered a full suite of campaign tools to pro and whatever those middle class peasantry are called. Similar to tools like Masterplan but more general purpose. Make it accessible through the roll20 app (to finally give that app a purpose). And give it features like monster builders (community created), encounter builders (lt you drag those monsters/traps ect into the encounter builder and it'll calculate the xp value/cr whatever for you.), magic item builders, custom card builders, balloon graphs for plots, templates, a minimap view of some of the table tops with the ability to place sticky notes on, export and import options, treasure generators and calculators, city and town generators and calculators, a voyeur toggle that allows anyone around and bored to listen onto your game and watch it as it progresses without having to actually join and a tiny little assistant shaped either like a paperclip, a 20 sided die or a glowing fairy ball that gives you helpful advice.

There are a lot of these tools spread over the net (surely you know Donjon), but I'd love to see some of these tools assembled under the roll20 roof.
I even started to build a town generator on my own some time ago, but never really finished it.

Most of those tools are either system specific or suck. Or both. (Donjon's 4e tools were notably crappy) And this had the advantage of well its nice having everything together makes things easier.
