For a basic idea of what's going: I am assisting a new gm with a campaign as I have spent over 100 hrs on messing with the code for sheets, attacks, etc at this point which sets me far ahead of the rest of the group in understanding how roll20 works, though I am still a free accounted novice. We recently had a change in party members and now have a Magus (Bladebound) in our party. With his level 2 spell strike ability, he can make at least one attack and deliver a touch-ranged spell in conjunction as a full round action. I don't wish to argue the matter of a normal melee hit with the spell added or an attack and a spell boosted attack at this point as that is a paizo forums post, not one for roll20. What I would like to do is to roll for the melee attack and either query the player for which spell to use (which I don't know how to do) or simply add the spell book list in the chat for him to select there (which I am using currently). The main problem with this is that it asks the player to select from ALL of his known spells, not just the ones that are touch. which leads to the dilemma. TL;DR: With or without add-ons, is there a way to filter items, in this case spells, from the main list of those listed to ones that have a particular descriptor, such as range:touch? I have tried to set up a second spell casting class spell book using the same class etc that would only have touch spells listed so I could bring up that touch-only spell book with the spell strike, though I have done something wrong and the main spell book ends up with double touch spells and the touch-only spell book has no spells listed. Thoughts, suggestions, and hints are greatly appreciated!
