Hello. I'm Amanda, a 35-year-old big kid and stay-at-home single mother of three young and crazy girls. I live in a tiny little town in Tennessee, USA and have no other family and no transportation. For this and any other number of reasons, I'm essentially home-bound and cut off from civilization at large. Suffice it to say, I'm going insane here! A few times throughout my life I've found myself in a position to play D&D, but I've never been able to complete an adventure, nor have I ever really learned the mechanics or gotten the gist of the game. There's always been someone to help me fill in my character sheets and, more often than not, I've just been thrown into the game and told what stats to write where. I want to have a better understanding of 4e and 5e and I want to be a part of an adventure and maybe even a campaign, if I can get the hang of things. I have acquired all three PHBs for 4e and have d/led and printed the free basic instructions for 5e from the WotC site. So, as far as materials go, I'm prepared. Being in Tennessee, I live in the Central Standard Time Zone, which is -6 from UTC. Two of my three girls are in school, so the ideal times for me to game are 8 am - 2 pm and I'm more than willing to participate in late night opportunities. As for my available days, Monday through Friday is best, again because of the kids being in school, but if I can find something late night, any day will work. Here's hoping I find the right fit for my full frontal nerdity! (Crosses fingers, eyes, toes, legs, and other assorted appendages)
