Any 5E DMs who enjoy running a series of homebrew one-shots?

Just seeing if there is any interest in something like this... Basically a GM who would like to run various short-term adventures with the same group of players who would assume a new character for each adventure rather than a long campaign?  I'm interested in this after watching Liam O'Brien's recent game 'The Screw Job' on Geek and Sundry.  Just thought it might be fun to take on different types of roles... Maybe run as an evil group for one story... Or a traveling band of bards for another story... or whatever.  Some examples: To the Poop ... The Screw Job
I would definitely be interested in an arrangement like that. It's always much easier to throw together a few encounters than to string together a story that everyone is invested in. I've been DMing for a long time and DMing 5E since launch. Pretty experienced with Roll20 and always looking to have a good time.
As a new player, this is pretty much exactly what I've been looking for to get my feet wet. If you would be comfortable showing a brand new player the ropes and being patient as I go through my "growing pains," I'd be very interested in participating!
Just to clarify, Cody are you saying you are interested in participating as a DM?   When would everyone be available?  I have an experienced 16 year old son and husband who may be interested as well but it would depend on when we did this.  I live in EST and Fridays 4PM or later would be the best for me personally... session length no longer than 3-4 hours

I'm available this weekend haha but in general, weekends are when I'm most free. I'm CDT, which is an hour ahead of you, so that's not a big deal. I am free during the week, but that would have to be in the evenings, after 4:00 pm usually and I would need to know at least a few days ahead of time to make sure I don't have a rehearsal or anything. EDIT: Not terribly important, but I'm a full time Masters student in Music Performance, so that's why my weekly schedules can get a bit hectic.
I am already in a game on Saturdays and Sundays I'm in 2 haha... So Friday evening really is the best time for me.   An article on Geek and Sundry led to  this great random character generator that could be a lot of fun for random one-shots like what we're trying to do.  A few examples that I got: DRIVEN DWARF BARBARIAN FROM THE ASSASSINS GUILD WHO ALWAYS WANTED TO BE AN ARTIST EAGER HUMAN FIGHTER FROM A GNOME RUN ORPHANAGE WHO SUFFERS FROM A RECURRING NIGHTMARE ENTERPRISING GNOME DRUID FROM A HAUNTED CASTLE WHO WAS PETRIFIED FOR OVER TWO HUNDRED YEARS BIGOTED DWARF RANGER FROM THE WILD WOOD WHO IS CURSED TO SPEAK IN SENTENCES OF EXACTLY TEN WORDS BOISTEROUS HALFLING BARBARIAN FROM THE BLACK CITADEL WHO IS A RECOVERING CANNIBAL
hahah, this is great. I can see where this would create some interesting situations. CRUEL ELF SORCERER FROM THE WAYFERER FOOTHILLS WHO WANTS TO BECOME A FAMOUS SINGER HARD-WORKING HALF-ORC WIZARD FROM A STRING OF TERRIBLE PLACES TO LIVE WHO ALWAYS LOOKS THEIR BEST Fridays after 3pm CDT work great for me. I do have an orchestra concert this Friday, so this week might be a little out of the question for me, unless we started much later.
Bump.  Any interest here still?
I realize I'm the only one replying... but keep me in mind if you get anything like this going!
