UPDATE 1/28/2013 We need two players! PM me with a character idea for your shot to get in. GAME WILL BE RUN AT 7:00PM PST, GMT -8, NO CONFUSION, EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT ~~~~~~~~~~~
"Fear not change, for the Weaver has chosen your path. Fear not darkness, for all mortals carry the Light of Ullor. Fear not death, my son; for one day we must all feel Isendre's touch."
TL;DR
Experienced 3.5 player and DM exploring into Pathfinder territory. I am currently looking for 3-4 players for a fresh, untested setting; players can be veterans or newbies, so long as they are reliably able to attend the sessions (Sunday Evenings, likely starting at 6-7 PM PST and lasting 3-4 hours). Players MUST have working microphone. NO exceptions. The first session of this campaign will (hopefully) take place on Sunday, January 13th.
What You Need To Know
Players will begin at level 1. While I will not limit players, I would prefer if the party composition had some sort of synergy. Characters will be rolled on a 4d6 system; drop your lowest roll. I reserve the right to adjust character scores for balance (Read: I simply don't want massive disparities between PC ability scores). Standard gold + equipment setup. You must have some sort of prepared backstory, as well as a physical description and a reason for your character to be in the small town of Pobble Lake (They could be a local, a wanderer, a merchant's guard, etc.)
This campaign will initially be set amongst a climate of change, war, and strife in a landlocked region known as the Heartlands. There are four major kingdoms within the Heartlands; the Kingdom of Suncrest, a primarily human and gnomish realm; the Mountainhomes of the North, ruled by the ancient Silversteel clan; the cosmopolitan Bosshek Empire, and the Kingdom of the Vale. Some themes I plan on including are magical engineering, court intrigue, cultural collisions, law vs chaos (in the strain of Elric of Melnibone),
A note on racial diaspora and xenophobia; The Heartlands are a primarily human and dwarven land, with concentrations of halfling and gnomish populations in the north and northwest. Elves are scarce except in the Vale and along the southern border, where they are merely an oddity. As the campaign will be beginning in the Kingdom of Suncrest, in the Northwestern portion of the Heartlands, elves, half-orcs, and to a lesser extent Halflings may be viewed with suspicion or downright hostility.
Some final notes
I hope for this campaign to be a healthy mix of dungeoneering, roleplaying, and combat, though I will likely tailor it to what the party prefers.
At the end of each session, I ask players to provide feedback on the adventures so far; while not necessary, it only serves to make your experience better.
I am a flexible game master, and am often willing to work with unorthodox characters or backstories. I highly recommend that every interested party contact me with their character ideas before taking the time to roll up a sheet.

As I find Roll20's messaging system infuriating at worst and dubious at best, I would appreciate if interested parties could contact me in one of the following ways (Ranked from most to least used):
