Looking for a more illustrative map for your campaign? I've just started my second series!

After starting the  Campaign Overworld series, I thought it would be nice to provide some stylistic options for people whose campaigns lean in a different aesthetic, so I started the Ancient Atlas series! Each entry in either series will mirror the other in terms of markers or other special features, so if your campaign or play group leans toward one aesthetic, you'll be able to keep things visually consistent without missing out on the cool stuff in the other. Ancient Atlas 1 Purchase it here! This set marks the beginning of a series of hand-painted world/region maps and map markers for campaigns of various scales. They're meant to reinforce an old-world fantasy feel in your campaigns and tie in with more illustrative tokens and battlemaps so that your whole campaign can feel visually consistent. For this set I boosted the size of the overworld map so that it would fit the default 25x25 page that Roll20 creates while still being less taxing on low-end computers than the full, 36x36, tiled map. On the docket for future sets: • Compass roses • Map markers for specific types of landmarks • Weathering and other effects to make the maps feel more like real objects If you'd like to give feedback… …then here are a few questions I'm looking for responses to for future sets in the series: • What would you like to see more of? • If you purchased this set, what about it appealed to you? • Did you also purchased the Campaign Overworld set, what motivated you to collect both? • What sort of fantasy environments would you like to see represented in future sets? • Anything else you'd like to say? Any feedback is better than no feedback! Thank you!
I love the look of your art, I just have to come up with a reason to add more continents to my game world to justify such a map. I think your floating islands may be a bit easier to implement, at least in my games!
