Looking for backgrounds

I'm looking for high quality background images in 1080P (1920x1080) not picky on theme but hoping for a large repository. I would even pay a few bucks if anyone has something, let me know.

As you did not define what you need the background for, whether it is a specific genre or it is for a splash page, a handout, etc... and the fact that this thread would get shutdown fast if anything such as pirated material was suggested, you won't get a reply or not many. The best we can suggest to you is to use our  marketplace to look over the art assets and see if any of them have what you want then you can purchase that package. Anything else, you will have to google for it. Have fun and keep the dice rolling.

Thanks Pat, sorry new here didn't know how it all works. wasn't looking for pirated material was suggesting i'd pay for a subscription or something if need be. still trying to figure out how this all works. I need maps/landscapes for players to move over for various games i plan to run on here. Again, I will buy something from Roll20 if there is a map pack or something.  

Thanks for the link Pat... i understand how it works now. i thought DM's were on their own for maps and material and Roll20 only provided the tools for create the adventure, i now realize marketplace sells maps. 

No problem. What type of genre are you looking at? I can't recommend any single artist as they all are good.

something realistic, i am starting them off on an island so beach setting with the possibility of entering the woods or walking along the beach. I think i will give them the option to explore a cave or underground structure but those are easy to come by. large (1920x1080) beach, woods and town maps would be ideal. thoughts?

Thanks again Pat, i found a few options and will be buying them for sure. quick question what are quick encounters? i know what random encounters are in terms of an event in a game or something but some map pack include "quick encounters"&nbsp;

never mind i read fast sorry. Quick Encounters in the maker/designer of the maps.&nbsp;

Quick Encounters is the title that the artist uses to describe his premade maps. He designed them to just be able to drop in a game, put some tokens on it and go. There are blank maps that you have to add your item tokens/tiles to the bare map but that takes time.
