Hello players, I have been running a bi-weekly Carrion Crown for a little over two months now but we've had a struggle getting folks to show up, or keeping interest due to the biweekly schedule. Starting this Saturday we're switching to a weekly schedule but have lost two of our players due to the change in schedule so I'm looking to fill those seats. The party has made it through most of the research and exploration portions of the first book and are getting ready to tackle the main event as it were. New players will be starting at level 2 using the character creation guidelines and house rules noted below. Because of the late additions your characters will be joining the party with a new hook, having been summoned to Ravengro after a series of terrifying encounters with the undead throughout the town, summoned by either Father Grimborrow, the grumpy old pharasmin cleric that leads the church in Ravengro, Sheriff Caellor, a well meaning but over whelmed back country sheriff, or Alendru Ghoroven, retired wizard turned school teacher. Current Party consists of - Human Fighter/Unchained Rogue 1/1 Half-elf Oracle 2 Catfolk Wizard 2 Aasimar Bard 2 We are currently using some experimental house rules, the players so far seem to enjoy them but the plan is to evaluate at the end of the book if we'll use them for the entire AP. The rules for them can be found here Games will run roughly 4 hours at a shot and will be conducted through voice chat using Discord (<a href="https://discordapp.com/" rel="nofollow">https://discordapp.com/</a>), cameras are not required but a clear microphone is. Character creation rules are as follows - 20 point-buy All first party paizo classes allowed with the exception of standard barbarian, summoner, and rogue which will be replaced with the Unchained versions. All first party paizo races under 20RP permitted Starting Gold: Max for class or 150 whichever is higher. (the party hasn't really gotten into the adventuring portion of the book yet so they really haven't started building wealth) Two traits, one of which must be an AP trait. No drawbacks. Background Skills from Pathfinder Unchained is being used. Please make sure you read the players guide it gives you a lot of setting information that could be important. It is also important to note that Carrion Crown, has a darker tone than a lot of APs and plays on a lot of horror movie tropes, most importantly the untrusting and unruly villagers trope that can lead to having to face the pitch fork and torch mob if you're not careful.
