First of all, thank you for reading. I've been playing D&D for a few years now. I've played both 5e and 3.5e, with most of my experience in 5e. I recently started playing a game on Roll 20 with some real life friends, and I really like the website. I'd love to get into some games other than D&D, though. I have interest in a lot of universes ranging from LOTR, Star Wars, Warcraft (or any Blizzard game really), Mechwarrior, and even Equestria. I'm also interested in games that are not based on a pre-established universe. Just ask me and I'll let you know if I'm interested. I probably will be. I'm not against playing D&D, but it would have to be an interesting campaign idea to really get me interested. I'm looking for something that's roleplay heavy or at least heavy leaning. I don't mean I don't want to do combat or anything, but I want to play with players who stay in-character and who don't meta-game all the damn time. I don't like when parties stop and talk for 20 minutes about what do on the next turn. It's boring and slows the game down heavily. I'm a big fan of a DM who will take charge and isn't afraid to kill people while still making it fun. Make risks rewarding but difficult. Last but not least, I'd also be a bit interested in trying out DMing for the first time. In this case, I would be most comfortable doing one-offs for 5e or 3.5e. Don't expect much from me, as I've never done it before. I think I'd probably be a bit of a strict DM who doesn't let players get away with meta-gaming or breaking character. P.S. My available times are pretty much any time at the moment. I'm currently playing a game on Saturday from about 2-9 CST, depending on how the group feels. Also, I like mature and/or dark settings. Gore and dark themes do not upset me in the least.
