Okay so I was just finishing a map and drew in a polyline. I was done with the line so I doubleclicked, forgetting that instead of ending this closes the shape. Which is not what I wanted. Undo doesn't work. I cannot find an erase tool (other than clear everything and start again.) So how do you erase a polyline? NM, weirdness. Polyline not selectable....and then suddenly it is. Thanks!

Unfortunately, there's no way to to undo the drawing of a polyline once it's closed/finished. A right click will end the drawing of a polygon without closing it. You'll have to select the shape and hit the delete key and then draw the polygon again without closing the shape in the end. As for selecting it, I believe this can be a bit finicky if there isn't a fill associated with it. Are you able to select it if you click on the linework?
