Hello all! :) I'm starting up a new campaign. Come join us for a bit of roleplaying before the Monday grind! Please see the details below: ---------------------------------------------------- Frequency : Once weekly for 3 hours Time : Sunday, 9pm-12am (UTC+9) Ruleset : Open to discussion at the moment DM: [Volunteer OR Cody] Player: Cody (OP) Player: Clint Player: [Slot Open] Player: [Slot Open] Player: [Slot Open] Player: [Slot Open] ---------------------------------------------------- I'm looking to start a new campaign and already have 1 person committed. We are open to 5E , 3.5 , or potentially Pathfinder . If
someone is a skilled DM, I would be happy to let them do so (good
imagination, able to improvise, knows how to use Roll20 well,
understands rules). Otherwise, I would be happy to DM. If I DMed, I would consider doing an original campaign or do Out of the Abyss which I've been itching to play. People who would fit in well with this group: Are committed to a mid or long-term campaign and can make 80% of the sessions Enjoy equal parts seriousness and humor Enjoy battle encounters as much as they do out of battle encounters Appreciate story and character progression Aren't afraid of in-game challenges and in extraordinary cases, potential player death... Are okay with Faerun as a setting (either know some lore or are open to learn through playing!) Are okay with mature content (murder, intrigue, drow torture, perhaps a beer both in-game and in real life!) A
bit about my experience: I'm 28, have DMed several campaigns for
Pathfinder and 5E, including 2 times for Roll20. I learned of D&D
after playing the Baldur's Gate games back in the 90s. I have since read
the R.A. Salvatore books, but don't worry... I'm not the type to start
roleplaying a dual-wielding drow ranger anytime soon ;) If you
have any questions or want to discuss some aspects of this new group,
post away! I think ideally we would have a DM and max of 5 players or
so.
