Pre Campaign message

Hoping to get game up soon.. Just a couple things to help make the game more fun . First if you have kids. PLEASE could you have some one babysit them or occupy them in another room when you are playing. The reason for this is the last campaign i ran had a player who had 2 little boys , and during a 4 hour session, the kids were screaming, fighting throwing things and so forth. It became annoying for the simple fact that no one could hear any of what was being said.  So please try to keep your kids occupied during game sessions. Next. absenteeism. i have to go this route now because it just happens to much. Had 2 players in a 4 player campaign who just couldnt be bothered to show up. Which is your perogative BUT when you dont inform me in some manner that you arent playing even just a message on here saying i cant play helps. But when i ask like i did with these 2 players, telling me you wanted to watch the Scooby doo movie, or you were out drinking with friends doesnt work for me. SO my new rule is this every one gets 1 free game miss without informing me , number 2 and i kick you. And lastly the reason i am waiting for 6 players is 2 fold. first the party strength lends itself to how epic the campaign will be. 4 players just wont cut it. and most importantly IF for some reason 2 players cant play we will at least have a crew of 4. . i appreciate you guys. i like your character concepts, and am looking forward to cranking this up very soon..
Understood.  We're holding for two more.  In the meantime, here is my backstory:   Grady was born into a family of tanners that followed Tyr. He heard many a tale of warriors who followed Tyr accomplishing great deeds in Tyr's name. He decided young that that was the sort of life he wanted. With misgivings, his tanner father took young Grady to the Church of Tyr to learn what such a dedication would entail. To his father's surprise, but not Grady's, the clergyman found that Grady had the attributes necessary to become an adherent of Tyr's. From that day on, Grady spent two days in ten at the Church of Tyr learning to become a Paladin of Tyr. He remained dedicated to the one handed god of justice as he grew. On his seventeenth birthday, gifted with a set of hide armour from his family, entered the ranks of clergymen of Tyr as their youngest paladin.
