Adventures in Middle Earth (5e)

I am starting an Adventures in Middle Earth game on Sundays here on Roll20 (Hangout audio) from 4-7pm CST. So far I have 3 players I would like 2-3 more. I am new to 5e (but not dungeons and dragons in general) And have run a One Ring game on Roll20 for about 2 years. My goal is to range across Middle Earth but the Campaign starts in the North Dale lands.

Im in, what character players and classes are there so far?, and we will use 5e?
Cubicle 7 produces AiME, it has its own classes, I can provide those when we do character creation on this Sunday. We will not use any other 5e material than what is in AiME Here is a link if you want to pick up the book yourself: http://cubicle7.co.uk/adventures-in-middle-earth-p... Tho to be clear, until the LoreMaster guide is out, I wlll be using 5e monsters and such. d
I tried looking for a pdf online for the book, do you have any link for AiME?

link shows a purchasable copy example, not the pdf available for reading. Do i need to buy the book to play?
well, I can provide some of the chapters, but I would prefer those who play purchase a copy, but if you are not sure, you could run a pre gen (from) the book, until you know it was something you would like to play long term. d

I'd be interested in joining, I'd be okay with buying the book itself however if possible I'd like to take up your offer of running one of the pre-gen characters to see about staying for the long game. If it's fun and it's something I'd be interested in staying for then I'd definitely be alright with buying the full copy for myself, I just can't justify the 20 dollars without knowing the group, hopefully thats understandable. It's been about 5 months at least since I've played 5e last, so it may take me a session or two to get back in the swing of it. I do already have the base 5e GM book, Players HB, and MM, but I'm unsure what the conversion changes. If you'd like to talk more w/ me feel free to PM me on here
I am curious however, how long of a campaign do you think this may be? I'd like to try and find something a little bit more long term. Even if it's not with just this game, I'd like to try and find if nothing else a longer term group regardless of the system played
taz447 Your idea is perfectly fine with me. I'll list the pregens and you can select one, and then if you find you like the group/game then when you buy the book you can create a new character (and take your experience and give it too that new character - so you don't have to start all over!!!) I plan on playing this game for quite awhile, I like ME, and I already have a campaign skeleton that will take at least 7 months to play through (though at the pace* I run it will likely be MUCH longer than that!! :D) Pregens: Barding Warrior, Beorning Warden, Dwarf Treasure hunter, Elven Scholar, Hobbit Wanderer, Woodman Slayer, \ *My games are weekly and I rarely take a break, its just that I tend to let the players muddle around a lot and so don't have a tight pace, which means an adventure may take anywhere from 1 to 4 sessions depending on the interest level of the players in what is going on. I try to follow the players interests rather than a plot railroad.
Alright that'd be great :D As far as the pregens I think that of those provided I'd like either the Barding Warrior or the Woodman Slayer. I think my decision would be swayed by what would fit the rest of the group best but those two look to be the most interesting to me. When are you planning on starting if you don't mind my asking? And if you'd have me then...

Awesome see ya there
cool, see you both there as well.
I have been looking for a group since the book came out. I'd either want to be a Man of Bree or Dwarf of the Lonely Mountain.
Sorry we are full at the moment!
