My players never see me nowadays , mainly because I never seam to have the free time. I should really get back in the GM hot seat and use one of the maps myself. Aaron I just had a look at your bio - Vampire: The Masquerade - so that kind of spooky Temple - Gothic styling interesting :-)

Done and done, Saul i see you have a small boat package. Any way I could convince/commission you for a sea faring type of war galley and or fantasy airship?

A fantasy Airship sounds like a fun project - like the kind of steam punk ones? War galley - like a Viking boat or a steamboat - Warhammer type - again steam punk-ish ? maybe a - Duo Travel pack - containing both - big enough to battle on these are all great ideas, but I do have a few other mega maps to get done in the near future, ie before the holidays... but these can def go on the to do list. Happy Roll20-ing

Hopefully this year. Thanks so much for getting the maps, I really do appreciate your support :-) Def will buy your temple, I would request that the pentagrams can be added by hand if the DM wishes, Though a cool scary symbol it doesn't often have a place in my fantasy worlds due to all the gods having their own symbols :-) Saul Wynne said: A fantasy Airship sounds like a fun project - like the kind of steam punk ones? Happy Roll20-ing Ill be honest ive been scouring the net for ships.. They either are close or just not right. I would kill for a multi deck (tile) lay out, the main deck able to show with sails or without for combats etc (sails always get in the way of ship deck combat). and then be able to slap down another tile for say cargo hold deck or sleeping quarters deck hell even bilge deck etc. I can find tons of Ebberon, steam punk air ships but zero fantasy style ships, no engines, cannons, propellers etc. Just good ole fashion magic or elemental powered ;-) You could just add long oars so that the DM can either use them on the boat or not. my players love sea faring quests and air ships alike, would love to be able to convert a layout either way :-) just my thought, thanks for the reply!

Fair point on the pentagram, it will be one of the transparent png tiles, that goes with the map.- I will look into magic powered ships as well - thanks for the great feedback and ideas, all very useful - I may well PM you in the future, if thats ok to show you some concepts on the magic ships- its always good to get in "work in progress" feedback.
Would love to help you out in any way possible, saves me time trying to create my own, puts $ in your pocket and gives great tools to roll 20. Im Down;-)

Wow, thats very Generous, Many thanks :-) I Hope you get use out of the galleon - it has 3 versions in the pack. Full sails top deck - see through sails top deck - and a below decks level - it has cannons on it though :( -maybe I could remove the cannons for you as a thank you ( I will look into it, if you think it maybe useful ) - if you have a look at it sometime -can you tell me size wise (roll20 units or Pixels) how much bigger - you think the war galley airship should be?

Great stuff, Purchased the Jungle map. I will be able to use this in the future for sure. What I do wish for: A dark, celtic inspired primordial forest. Celtic style Village, Stonehenge, giant trees, a sacrificial altar, monster lair, lake, small river, dolmen, mound fort, Menhir, ... Looking forward to what else you create.

Thanks Marcus for your support, Idea's and previous feedback, :-) I have now added the Celtic Theme to the list for future MEGA MAP's. It will be most likely Celtic moorland with tree/forest areas, so there is room for the giant trees, fort and other POIs I am a Celt myself, I have also lived in highlands of Scotland, near Loch Ness as a youngster and also in Salisbury very near to Stonehenge, we do have a lot of trees, but mostly moors of heather and bracken with rock outcrops - all very green :-) A request, if you have a chance - Sling me a screenshot from one of your adventures when you use the jungle map, would love to see your player adventuring.( with their permission of course ) Happy Roll20-ing!

Two things I've had need of multiple times, and yet struggled with finding good resources for, are deserts and encampments. As far as deserts go, some decent sand textures, perhaps some half-buried ruins? Encampments from as small as caravans (with wagons) to those inhabited by armies (weapon racks, supply wagons, cookfires) can be extremely difficult to find objects for with a consistent graphical feel. Varied tents are also in short supply, since the best ones I've been able to find are the sort of teepee-style tents, while some stark military/adventuring tents would go along way. While we're on the subject of tents, some kind of gypsy fair map could be an interesting concept, and easily adapted to a megamap format methinks. Sorry for the rambling, I just sort of wrote down what's been missing in my map-building as it came to me. These maps are great, and you can bet I'll be purchasing soon. Cheers!

Hi Dylan, you will be glad to know - the Desert / sand dunes is already high on the Mega Map list and please NP - ramble away , a stream of semi conscious thought is always great, loads of little sandy gems in there, which I can now research and add as transparent tiles. It just so happens that I have some great sand textures I photographed on my last few holiday, even if my other half was giving me Evils for "working" on my hols hehe. A couple of the Sand textures where used in this map view image ( has copyright image on top) but gives a basic idea on the texture and style - the mega map will be much improved on, vastly increased in size - with proper dunes, and add ons - this was a add on free map to an early sea map set of mine.

Saul, quick question about your ocean bay map. Trying to set it up on the lower half of a 100x100 map will this work? Im horrible at puzzles and having a hard time putting it together ;-)

Hi Aaron, sorry for the slow reply, missed this last night. The resolution of these sea maps are set at roughly 25 X 25 unit size (Battle maps really) - so at 100 x 100 Roll20 units, these maps will not look as intended. I did however noticed a pixel issue - which I am looking into now. I have just tried a sea bay/coast map and stretched it 100 x 100 units. Roll20 does scale very well, ( I had to pull the map horizontally then vertically from the middle pull points to make it fill the whole 100 x 100 units) but it does look huge - Land of the Giant's - HUGE! :-) I will add here any changes or discovery's, I may make. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm new to roll20, so... Better call Saul! :D Ok, nuff with Breaking Bad. Your packs are fantastic, and are my first purchases from the marketplace. I have a few questions: 1. When I drag the tiles to the map (ie. ruins), it takes up a single square unit. How do I know what's the correct size to resize it to? In your video, you drag a tile onto a map, and it's at the original size. I drag anything and it will fill exactly one square only. 2. The library sorting is tedious with all the tagging, aren't there any folders?

When I drag the tiles to the map (ie. ruins), it takes up a single square unit. How do I know what's the correct size to resize it to? 2. Is there no way to exact resize - like hold control and resize it? 3. God, the library sorting is tedious with all the tagging, aren't there any folders? Thank god you called SAUL!!!!! He tells you to set your map to 80 by 80 in his intro video so the tiles will be 40x40 when dragged from the corner. If that confuses you i found it easiest to put each of the map pieces in the upper left, right and bottom left and right, and just drag them one by one until they all touch and form the complete mega map :-) If you need help sizing it you can invite me to your campaign and I would be happy to help :-) You may add tags to your market place purchases, go to your library select up to 30 (i believe) pieces of market place artwork that you own and assign a tag i.e dungeon for dungeon tiles. Those will always be the first to pop up when you search dungeon. orrr do what I like to do, just type SAUL in the search bar and all the tiles you purchased from Saul will pop up :-) Unfortunately there is no folder organization that I know of, though I would love it if there were! P.S. I noticed his popped up full size as well in his video, but when i dragged them as map backgrounds it did the same as yours did, re-sized to one square ;-)

Hi Xeos, Welcome to Roll20 and thanks to Aaron for getting in there to help so quickly. :-) Sorry for my slow reply, I live over the Big POND -> so my time difference is about 8 Hrs or so. yep Aaron & Xeos,if you drag from library it will appear as a 70 x 70 pixel thumbnail of the map, which you will have to pull out to 40x40 units. But this is what I do. I find it easier than the library system ATM ( I do believe the library system is being looked into by the Dev team) Set the page to 80 x 80 units (there is a Cog icon next to the page - that allows you to change your page settings) Enable the grid tool, click in box, in page settings close page tab, so you can see full screen I always set the magnification tool to 100% before I drag the map into the page I personally drag from a folder on my home machine (all my maps/sets have the download function enabled) then the map will be the correct size. Hope that helps Happy Roll20-ing
