Roll 20 started crashing Chrome today for me

So I have been having some issues with Chrome recently (which is updated to current build-Version 23.0.1271.97 m), in general it is sucking allot but I still like chrome quite a bit. Hence why I am still using it, but apparently now it hates the Roll 20 site so I may have to stop using chrome as a browser if it won't let me run this page correctly. Now bare in mind, chrome is failing at allot of things lately, like opening google browser based features for me, like Reader, google play etc, so it is having issues that the developers still have not addressed (the reader thing is like 8 months old as far as I can tell reading up on some tech blogs). So the issue is up until yesterday I only had a couple of issues with the VTT loading, but today when I tried to load it repeatedly it just would go to the VTT screen, I would get no black screen with the whole ad and count down deal. I only got a gray table top mat, the load page bar and the top portion of the right side bar (only a fraction of the side bar loaded on top, no access to side bar features), and the drawing tool control panel on the left (default position I guess). Anyone have any ideas? I am pretty tech dumb when it comes to computers and browsers. I guess I will be going to firefox, but if I could find a work around for chrome I would try it out. I am running a windows 7 Home premium edition (x64), 6.1.7600 build 7600, Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.5 GHz, GTX 460 graphics card, 6 Gigs of RAM.
Well I was wrong, I thought it worked today in Mozilla Firefox, but that also has an issue loading the VTT. Is there something unstable about the VTT in Roll 20 today? Here is the error loading message I get from Firefox, all 4 times I tried to load it. A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: <a href="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js:2" rel="nofollow">https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js:2</a> This sucks, I can't access my campaign. I will be trying IE next.
I wouldn't try using IE, it's not likely to work :-) Can you try creating a new campaign and see if you are still having issues? If it works with the new (blank) one and not the one you're currently trying, it may be an issue with that specific campaign. As far as I know there's nothing wrong with the software today :-)
I will give that a try. Thank you. I just did spybot search and found some malware on my PC that may be causing this to happen, some browser extension called Yontoo, that was probably loaded via a software called Vid-saver that was bundled into something I installed or what have you. Going to try to sort this out as well, and see if that helps also.
Well I almost have all the malware off I think, now I may have to get some help form a friend to make sure this registry repair software will actually work and not wreck my registry. So I can reload all campaigns, including the test campaign I made about 15 minutes ago except for the one I was trying to access earlier (the one that sparked the problem today). I should say I actually get the same message, I allow it to cancel the script (mentioned by name above in my second post), and then the campaign page will load correctly. It also appears to load all the side bars and the VT fine. So I guess I need to finish my malware fix project, but any ideas on what that script is it cannot run? I found this link online explaining what i think the script was it was having issues with, but it looks like it related to a Google library file of some sort. Not sure what Google has to do with Mozilla, I thought Mozilla Firefox was an open source open development project. <a href="https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/devguide" rel="nofollow">https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/devguide</a> Maybe a clean un/reinstall of all the browsers in question after I fix this malware issue would be in order as well. I will report back when I get some results or some kind of fiasco, LOL. Thanks again for the earlier help in your post.
This happened today with all of my players and myself. it happened most often when we where rolling some 3D dice around. had to reload 4 times, roughly, each. and at seperate times. when we first "zoned in" we all had to reload as well. EDIT: ALSO a big note here. we rolled 1d150's each, for a loot table. every single person rolled the same number, each time they rolled. so all 4 players rolled, got 37, all rolled again, got 68, all rolled again, all got the same number again. is this a new issue? it's not something i've run into before and is making my players doubt the randomness of the table.

3D dice can cause crashes. It is still considered experimental. - Gauss
